Dean knew that his and Cas's anniversary was coming up and since this was his first time he's been in a relationship for this long, so he wanted to make this really special.
"Hey Sammy." Dean says to Sam, the day before his anniversary.
Sam lifts his eyes up just enough out of the book he was reading to gesture he was listening.
"Look, man, it's Cas's and I's anniversary tomorrow and I want to do something nice for him, so could you take him out for the day? And once I text you, you can drop him off at the bunker and head out to a bar. Please Sammy, just for tomorrow night, I promise." Dean pleads, quietly, so he doesn't wake Cas taking a nap in the other room.
Sam nods understandingly and continues with his book. Dean smiles softly to himself and goes to his room to make a list of things he needs to buy now, while Cas is sleeping.
Once dean finishes his list, he heads out, taking the Impala and as always, his knife. Gathering all the supplies he needs is a hunt itself. But once he finally gathers all the things he needs, he checks out. As he walks out of the door with all his stuff, he notices all the women staring at him, admiring his generosity and love for the person at home waiting for him, only do they not know, he is gay and is in love with a fallen angel. Literally.
Dean knows Cas always searches the bunker when he's bored, so he leaves all his stuff in the trunk of the Impala. Once he gets inside, only then does he realize it's past midnight, and Cas is probably in his bed sleeping. Dean sets his knife on the table, and takes off his shirt, tossing it aside as he walks into his bedroom, to find Cas sound asleep curled up in the blanket.
Dean crawls in bed with Cas. He slides his arm under him and his other arm over him and pulls Cas closer to him. And within minutes, he is asleep.
The next morning, Sam wakes up early and takes Cas out to the pet store, to play with the puppies. Pure genius. While Sam and Cas are out, Dean spends all day cleaning, and setting up the bunker for his anniversary. Dean finishes around 5:30 pm so he texts Sam.
Dean: 'Done. Drop Cas off. Thanks.'
Sam: 'Might be a little late. Cas won't leave without the dogs at the pet store.'
Dean: 'Take your time'
While Dean waits for Cas, he goes over everything to make sure its perfect. A few moments later, he hears the click of the lock on the door, so he gets into place.
Cas comes in and drops the keys as he stares at the room;
The stairs are covered with rose pedals and the rails are wrapped in twinkling white lights that brighten up the red in the pedals. A trail of pedals form a heart in the living room, and eventually trail away into the darkness of the hallway where Deans room is located. The sweet and masculine scent of Deans cologne drifts through the air, guiding Cas down the hallway. Soft music plays in the back round, possibly playing in another room. Cas follows the dark rose pedals in the hallway to Deans door, and finds it cracked. As Cas opens the door, his pupils become enormous.
Dean sits on his bed, with one leg tucked under him and the other just barely dangling of the edge of the bed. His shirt and pants are lying in the corner, and Dean sits still, looking up at Cas with puppy dog eyes, in his boxers, trying to imitate the way Cas looks at him. Two wine glasses are sitting on his nightstand. The glisten off the lights that are strung around his room. Cas smiles and exhales softly.
Dean opens his hand and invites Cas to join. But Dean expects Cas to sit down and join him for wine, but what Cas does, surprises him even more.
Cas takes of his trench coat and starts to unbutton his shirt. He jumps onto Dean and begins to kiss his neck softly. dean lets out a soft moan and pulls Cas closer to him. His desire for Cas over powers him, and Dean wraps his legs around Cas and pulls their bodies against each other. Cas finally gets out of his shirt and tosses it to the floor with a loud thud that scares both Dean and Cas.
"Dude what the hell is in your shirt." Dean says, as Cas's shirt begins to move.
From his shirts sleeve, out comes a small puppy pug, that Cas stole from the pet store earlier.
Deans face goes from passionate to extremely pissed off in less than a second. He pushes Cas over from on top of him and rolls over to sleep.
"Damn it Cas. I was trying to do something nice." Dean says as he pulls the covers over him.
"But Dean. We can't stop now. My pants are tight and I don't know why." Cas says.
"Too bad, ass butt." Dean snorts, as he drifts to sleep.
