Dean walked out from the kitchen with a beer in his hand and found Cas sitting on the couch, hunched over with his head in his hands. He noticed Cas was getting more and more depressed after every passing day. Maybe it was because the full impact of the shitty society finally hit him. But Dean didn't know for sure.

"Hey Cas, you okay?" Dean said, patting Cas' shoulder lightly.

"Dean, why does society believe in heaven less than ever before? I do not understand where their faith has gone. They don't believe in angels anymore, Dean." Cas mumbled.

Dean sat beside Cas and rubbed his back softly. Dean could hear the muffled sounds of sobs covered by Cas' hands. Cas was human now, but Dean also understood how much God and the angels meant to Cas. They were, in fact, his family.

Dean stood up and walked over to Sam, he whispered, "Could you spend the night in your room, Sammy? I wanna do something nice for Cas because hes been feeling down and out lately and I just want to cheer him up."

Sam smirked and nodded, gathered his things, and walked down into the hallway, leading to his bedroom.  Dean grabbed one of his favorite movies, popped it into the DVD player, and sat on the couch, motioning for Cas to cuddle with him. Cas looked up slowly, and began to take off his shoes and tie. He slipped off his shirt and pants and slid under the covers and layed down ontop of Dean. He was actually alot lighter than Dean imagined him to be. Cas layed his head on the space between Dean's peck and armpit.

Dean grabbed the remote from the small table beside the couch and pressed play. "The Breakfast Club" appeared across their TV screen. Dean had seen this movie at least 50 times. He could quote the whole movie if he wanted to. It was a classic, so he had to play it for Cas. A few minutes into the movie, Dean looked down on Cas, to see if he had understood the refrence they had just made, only to find him fast asleep on Deans chest. Dean could feel his slow and paced breathes. He pulled up the covers so they were covering most of Cas' body and softly kissed his forhead. Dean tilted his head back and slowly drifted off to sleep.
