Dean hated the winter. He hated the cold, he hated the snow, he hated the snowmen, but most of all, he hated having to dress up in so much clothes to stay warm. With Castiel being human now, he got to experience all of the seasons. His current favorite? Winter.

"Guys! Can we have snow ball fights? I read online that they are easy to do and are very fun. And building snowmen too. Even though I was confused on the complex size difference of the snow balls you make for the body parts." Castiel says, when he walks into the living room of the bunker.

"Cas, it's too damn cold to do that." Dean replies.

"Please Dean?" Cas asks.

Dean never could resist the way Castiel looked at him when he begged for something. His ocean blue eyes were memorizing to him.

"Fine. But you have to put on at least 3 layers of clothes." Dean says, getting up from his chair to get dressed.

Cas runs to his room that he shares with Dean and pulls out two long sleeve shirts and a pair of snow pants he had found on a hunt once. He quickly throws them on and begins to panic when he cannot find a hat or gloves to wear.

"Haha, just give me a second, I have an extra pair." Dean laughs. He fumbles through his drawers and finds an extra pair of gloves and tosses them over to Castiel.

Once both of them are fully dressed, they begin to wobble up the steps and out side. Dean opens the door and winces as the cold air hits his face. Cas, on the other hand, smiles and begins to run outside, like a penguin. Dean laughs at the way Cas moves in the snow, and it warms is face jut enough to step outside again and shut the door behind him.

Dean plops down in the snow, and begins to explain how to make a snow angle to Castiel. Cas has a hard time following Deans instructions, and eventually gives up and watches Dean.

"You know, that's not what angels look like. They don't wear long robes like that, Dean." Castiel explains, while he observes the figure Dean made in the snow.

Once Dean gets up, he grabs Cas' hand and pulls him in for a soft kiss. Dean smiles against Castie'ls cold lips, that slowly begin to warm up again.

Dean grabs Cas's hand and pulls him in to the snow and begins to teach Castiel how to make a snow man. Once the bottom and middle ball are rolled and placed on top, Dean makes a small ball an places on top. He takes of his hat and his only scarf and wraps it around the snow man. Cas picks up two rocks and a few  twigs he saw laying near by and finishes the snowman. They step back and observe their creation. Cas looks so proud, while Dean smirks and laughs to himself at their snowman that is tilting and hardly has a face.

Dean grabs Cas's hand and pulls him back inside. They take off their clothes at the door so they don't drag the snow around the house. Cas goes into his bed room and gets under the covers. Dean slips in his slippers that where waiting for him at the door and shuffles to the kitchen to make hot cocoa for himself and Cas. After he carefully brews each cup, he brings them to his room on a platter to find Cas shivering under the covers. Dean sets the cocoa platter on his night stand and gets under the covers to warm Cas up.

"D-Dean. I'm s-so c-cold." Cas says, as he snuggles himself against Dean's body. Dean wraps his arms around Cas and pulls them closer. After a few minutes, Cas is fast asleep. Dean smiles and kisses the top of Castiels head.

"Yeah, you're awesome, Cas." Dean whispers, as he, himself, falls into a soundless sleep.
