The Mystic Child

Chapter 15

It has been weeks since the wedding had happened. Everyone that witnessed the union was glad that they came as they saw the love that day. It was the talk of the kingdom, as they have a soon to be king.

On another note, the newlyweds arrived at their destination. They have been exploring the city, and things that newlyweds do. Singing, dancing, spending time with each other, and yes the deed of possible conceiving of a child is exactly what they did.

Just having the time of their lives, is exactly what they should be doing. They are dancing in the streets while music is being played by local artists. You would think that it’s your typical honeymoon thing to do.

Twirling, laughing, dancing, and smiling is what Tenanye is doing while watching her wonderful husband Titus. Then out of the blue she runs to the nearest bucket or bathroom. Tenanye hurled her lungs out and Titus was asking if she was okay… of course she wasn’t idiot. When Teananye started to think of why she was hurling so much…that it suddenly hit her. She was late for the moon cycle (period) that hits once a month, a curse for women. That is what Tenanye believes at least.

Tenanye is going to figure out if her thoughts are correct. The newlyweds are heading home the following day anyways as they have been gone for a month. Titus is being crowned king the day they will arrive or soon after they do. That is when the magic is at its highest point, so the moon and sun god and goddess can crown him as well. It has to be exactly when it turns night.

The following day the newlyweds left in the morning, so they can see everyone sooner. Once they arrived that Bella came running and hugged Tenanye. Bella smiled up at her and Tenanye smiled and picked her up and threw her up in the air.

“My have you grown Bella bee even if it has been a month,” Tenanye said.

“I sure did and it was a full inch,” Bella said proud.

“Wow a full inch… I will talk to you later, as I have something to do. I will see you later Titus,” Tenanye said to the siblings.

Titus and Bella both nodded their heads in understanding of what she told them. Tenanye went to her room to drop off all of her things from the trip. Then she went to the healing pixies. Pixies grow in size as well as the fairies.

“Oh your back Tenanye,” Andrea said while jumping and running to hug Tenanye.

“Yes I am and can you do me a favor my dear friend,” Tenanye said.

“Of course,” Andrea said without hesitation.

“Can you see if I’m pregnant, as I have been throwing up everything I eat,” Tenanye said while Andrea nodded her head.

Andrea heads right to work by taking Tenanye to a room. She starts setting up all her things that she needs from potions and gloves incase she needs them. The first thing she does is feel around the stomach. She had felt something; the next thing she does is grab some lotion and spread it over her bare stomach, after Tenanye took her dress off. Then Andrea uses her magic to see if she was, well she certainly was as she was a healing pixie.

“You are definitely pregnant my friend,” Andrea said.

“Oh thank you Andrea and I have a question for you,” Tenanye said and asked.

“What would that be,” Andrea exclaimed.

“Would you like to work in the palace? You would be able to hang out more with me like you have been asking me. Also to meet my father and your godchild,” Tenanye asked and said with excitement.

“Of course my friend… without a doubt,” Andrea said smiling.

Tenanye bid her friend goodbye; a friend she met when she first became queen. Anyways, Tenanye headed straight home. Once she arrived that her mother and father greeted her.

Meredith was holding a baby, which caused Tenanye to realize that she has a little brother. Her parents saw that Tenanye had a twinkle in her eyes, so they let her hold her baby brother.

“His name is Demetri and since people here don’t have last names that he will be safe from being used. I have missed you my beautiful queen,” Meredith said smiling.

“He’s so adorable and he looks like he’s only a few days old,” Tenanye said.

“You’re correct dear, he’s only a few days old as your mother here just got out of the healing room,” Antonio said while smiling at how observant his baby girl is.

“I’m happy I have a baby brother; where is Titus? I need to tell him and everyone something big and yes you both are included; I know that look father,” Tenanye asked and said knowing her father all too well.

Antonio told Tenanye to follow him. He started walking and Tenanye followed patiently with Demetri in her arms. Meredith was smiling the whole way; Tenanye then saw her whole family.

“I have something to tell you all,” Tenanye said.

“What is it Tenanye,” Arnold said honestly curious.

“I am pregnant,” Tenanye said nervous.
