The Mystic Child

Chapter 17

The entire kingdom and palace was buzzing with gossip for weeks; when they all found the queen is pregnant. The royal family is happy that there is going to be a new addition to the family.

    The already new addition Demetri is always crying and it frustrates his parents. The only time the child is calm when he’s awake is when he sees his bigger sister.

    Demetri is currently with his sister in the garden. When Tenanye heard gurgling that she turned around and saw Demetri looking at a butterfly. He is about a month or two old now… time sure goes by.

    Queen Tenanye is only showing a tad. It isn’t completely noticeable that she is going to be having a baby soon. Her protector knows about the child which he is excited about meeting the child when he or she is born.

“Tenanye,” Andrea called out.

“In the garden,” Tenanye said.

“Tenanye girl, I missed you, “Andrea said when she saw Tenanye.

“I missed you as well,” Tenanye said.

“Is that Demetri? If so that is the calmest I’ve ever seen him,” Andrea said and asked.

“It is Demetri and I take him once a week. Some reason he is so calm with me,” Tenanye said.

“Wow, maybe it’s because he knows you his sister and will always protect him,” Andrea suggested and Demetri looked up at Tenanye.

“Certainly a possibility that may be why. I also think that what if he has the same abilities as dad has,” Tenanye said and questioned.

“So many possibilities but we will never know till it shows,” Andrea said.

Andrea and Tenanye was talking and hanging out all day. Demetri knew it was getting closer to him going back to their parents. He was pouting, which Tenanye noticed right away and she thinks that it’s one of his cute faces.

Demetri is growing like how fairies do. He is also developing like Tenanye did. He is such a sister’s boy, screw the parents he wants his sister.

“I think he might be like us,” Tenanye said.

“How can you tell,” Andrea asked.

“Look at how he’s growing; the first year is where we grow the most Andrea. Heck he might be able to talk as soon as I did. My mom was confused but she accepted it,” Tenanye explained.

“You have a point,” Andrea said.

“Oh he needs to grow more comfortable around our parents. Oh Demetri I can’t always take you, but I will always be here for you whenever you need me… please remember that little brother,” Tenanye said to him.

“Sissy,” Demetri yelled excited.

“Oh… my… god,” Tenanye and Andrea said at the same time.
