chapter 3
we walked back into school, silence being our number one priority so we wouldn't get caught. we waited patiently for the 6th period bell to ring, and soon enough it did.
"why weren't you here 4th period?" mrs. rojas, my math teacher, said.
"i got sick." i lied.
"do you have a note?" she asked.
"nope. am i supposed to?" i said, acting stupid.
"you are. see me after class." she snapped.
"okay bitch..." i muttered low enough for her not to hear.
the dismissal bell rung, and everyone except me, had left.
"did you skip school?" mrs. rojas asked.
"why do i need to talk to you? can't you send me to the office or something?" i rolled my eyes.
"honestly answer, and i won't give you detention." she eyed me.
"yes. i skipped school. bye!" i stormed out.
i heard a faint "bye!" in the distance. wow mrs. rojas, late much?
"hey!" luke hugged me.
"hi." i hugged back.
"something wrong?" he asked.
"my stupid math teacher, that's all." i replied honestly.
"lucky for me, i have honors math." he smirked.
"don't play smart hemmings." i warned and he bit his lip.
we walked out of school and went to a close by yogurt shop.
"how come calum isn't here?" luke asked.
"he either has band practice or detention." i shrugged.
"he plays an instrument?" luke sounded amused.
"bass guitar. do you?" i raised an eyebrow.
"so i guess you DROP THE BASS player's pants, huh?" he looked at me seriously.
i almost died of laughter, i even spit out yogurt. ew.
"but, seriously. i play acoustic and electric guitar." he smiled.
"you should join the band." i suggested.
"i don't even know the bands name and i'm already apart of it?" he chuckled.
"5 seconds of summer." i grinned.
"hmm... maybe i will, for you." he shrugged.
"do it for yourself, lucas." i smirked.
"my names' not lucas...!" he groaned.
"yes it is." i laughed.
"fine but only you can call me that." he giggled.
"alright." i agreed.
