This Wasn't Supposed To Happen

Chapter 7: Nice To See You Again

Are you finish yet Mr. Man?

 You are?

 Great.

 My mommy and daddy are going to be home soon so you have to make sure you hide okay?

 Okay I gotta go.

 I'm leaving now.

 Wait for me okay?

 You have to wait for me.

            I was woken by the sound of rustling bushes. I thought it was just Eden in the bushes like the first day i found her. But Eden was right next to me. I looked out of the fort and down into the bushes. I saw hair. Thinking it was another monster I quickly grabbed my sword and started going down the steps.

            When I got to the bottom of the steps I couldn't see the figure anymore. I looked around and I still couldn't see anything. "It must just be my mind playing tricks on me." I thought. But just as I was about to turn back around to go into my fort a cold metal touched my neck.

            "Put down all your weapons." It was a calm voice whispered into my ear. I quickly put my sword down on to the floor, "Kick it away." It continued. The voice was very...girly so I assumed it was a female doing all this to me. She patted me down and turned me around. Just then did I realize who this unidentified  person was.

             "Alegna?" I asked.

             "Who are you, and how do you know my name?" She responded

              "It's me, Nathan from your class. Can't you tell? It's only been about 2 weeks since I've seen you."

               "2 weeks? What do you mean 2 weeks? It's been 6 months since we got here."

               "6 months?!?"

               "Yeah, idiot. Your talking about how I couldn't tell who you were? If you looked at yourself you probably wouldn't recognize yourself." She said as she lifted up a polished mirror. 

                 I couldn't believe what I was looking at. My hair had become about 15 cm (6 inches) longer than it had been before. I had grown myself a small beard as well. Something I was trying so hard to get when I was at school. Then I looked really close at my eyes. They were red. It's not like they turned into demon eyes with pupils like cats...my pupil was still the same shape as it was before. They were just red. 

                  I was taken back at my appearance. Even if it had been 6 months I didn't think that I would be able to have a change in my appearance  in such a short amount of time. 

                "So you really didn't realize how long you were here? You really are an idiot." She said.

                 "..." I still couldn't fathom the thought of it, "anyway Alegna, how are you here? I thought only the people in our class we transported here." 

                 "The whole class was brought here?" She asked

                 "Yeah." I answered

                   "Then it must have transported everyone that was in the class. I just so happened to be skipping school that day so I was transported to a different location than you." She realized

                    "So what have you been doing all this time?" I told her.

                   "Why would I tell you?" She snapped
