Soooo.....my phone is still charging. I don't know how i feel about that. Wait...if that works then...never mind. This phone...has no service. But hey at least i have something to do when im bored. Not only that but I don't have to worry about using all my battery on the flash light, I don't need to worry about running out of paper, and most importantly, I can write notes on whatever monsters that are lurking in the shadows. I wrote some notes based on what I knew:
"-The monsters come in a variety of different sizes.
-The smaller ones seem to have more agility
-The bigger they are, the stronger they are, the scarier they are
-Are they afraid of sunlight???
-Is there a king? That would be pretty cool...scary...but cool.
-How many monsters ar-"
Before I could finish my typing I hear a rustling in the trees.
-rustle- rustle- crunch- crunch-
I grabbed my obviously professionally made sword and walked closer.
"Who's there?" I yelled, "I have a weapon!"
I thought there would be another monster, or a person, but it wasn't. It was this dog looking thing that stepped out. But it wasn't a dog. It's fur was a purplish-black and it's frame was that of a German Shepherds'. But it had horns and a tail like a demons. I slowly backed away knowing I wan't going to be ready for a fight. Then, it bowed. Like low-key bowed. After that it got up and smiled. For something as wild looking as it, it had pearly white teeth. But that didn't take away from the fact that it's teeth looked like A FREAKING LIONS'! I slowly walked towards it. It slowly walked towards me.
"Sit." It sat.
"Talk." It barked.
"Roll over" It rolled over.
"You're a cool dog." It turned it's head as if it were confused. "What should I name you?"
It's black(ish), cute, obeying, and weirdly friendly.
"Eden. An abundant natural beauty." I looked at it. "Do you like the name Eden?" It barked. "I'll take that as a yes." As I got up, I realized I made a horrible mistake. I squatted down.
"Whew." I thought, "you're a girl." I went to chop down some leaves and laid it on the floor.
"That's your bed." I said to her. She walked over and laid down after spinning a few times. Before I knew it, she was out.
"Damn. You're cute." I said to myself.
I walked back to my training post. Since I had a phone now, I timed my "work outs". 1 hour on the training post. 30 min of push ups. 30 min of jumping jacks 30 min of burpees, and 1 hour and 30 min of running. Why so much time for running? You may be wondering. It's because I also wanted to take time to scale my "map". By the time I got home it was already the after noon. 4:34 p.m to be exact. I was bored. I ran out of things to do. Eden lay next to me. I forgot to tell her to stay I don't know how I would feel if my only companion left me. I started thinking that I should start taking her with me on my jogging portion. But at last...I was thirsty again. Who would have thought exerting yourself for 4 hours would make you thirsty. I should have.
I looked down on my map. I didn't think about it much when I started scaling the area but there was a small pond about 2 kilometers from here (1.2 miles). I woke up Eden. I know, I know it was an unspoken, and might I add forbidden rule to do so, but I had to. I like friends too. She got up and started wagging her tail...thing.
"Let's go for a walk." I said to her. That fact that she weirdly understands what I'm saying is making my life a lot easier. Then, we embarked on our journey.

It had been about 2 hours and 30 min since we left. I would have ran but I was too thirsty. But at last we finally found it. The pond!!! I grabbed all my water bottles out of my backpack and filled them up after that I drank some water and started running home. By the time I got home it was 8:30 pm. At least I found something to keep myself occupied. I gathered some leaves and lay them on the floor to sleep on. I got comfortable, and slowly drifted off

-plip- "Not again." I thought. You know how many times I've had to hear -plip-?" TOO MANY! I sat up thinking it was Eden that decided to slobber all over me while I was sleeping, but it wasn't. There were monsters all over me, staring at me. Some tall, some sort, some wide, some thin but all of them were scary. And all of them had a smile on their faces. I was frozen In fright. But there were also monsters around Eden. Poor little Eden, there was no way she could go against what seemed like 20 around her.
"GET UP!" I kept on telling my self but my body wouldn't comply. After what seemed like forever my mouth finally moved.
"EDEN!" I screamed it as loud as I could. Eden got up and also seemed surprised by the amount of monsters that were around.
"RUN!" I yelled. But she wouldn't leave. She just kept staring at me. I wondered why now of all times she wouldn't listen to me. She didn't even know me long enough to care for me. I started crying. I don't know if it was because I completely dropped my guard, but for some reason that's when all the monsters started moving in on me. And Eden was just staring at me as if there was something I could do. But I was powerless. What could I have done in that situation. Scream. I don't know what came over me but I screamed. I screamed a scream that terrified even myself. I sounded so ear-quenching I didn't even know how to put it into words.
As I was screaming all the monsters starting covering their ears and they all started screaming 1 after another. This whole thing lasted about a mere minute, as all the monsters ran in different directions making the planet shake. I stared at Eden and paused,
"Things just got more complicated."
