CHAPTER 6: Charity At The Park!!

        Today, after finding out that Axel STILL doesn't have my money or any at all to give me, I decided to send Trey to go and knock some sense into Axel as I think I would've beaten the shit out of him badly enough to put him in the hospital if I had gone.

        It was perfect timing cause I needed to handle some business with another one of our partners in our business.

         By the time I came home, it was late and I was tired as hell to where I just went straight to my room and passed out on my bed.

        When I woke up the next morning, it was close to noon.

        Before rolling out of bed, I looked at my phone and saw that I missed no calls.

         So then I next got up, took a shower and then got ready for the day and headed out towards the kitchen in hopes that somebody made some coffee.

         Which I could smell that someone was making some as I continued to walk into the kitchen.

         As soon as I walked in, I saw that no one was there. So I just walked over towards the coffee maker and poured myself some coffee into a mug and then as soon as I turned around, my coffee spilled all over me as I bumped into someone.

          "Motherfucker!" I yelled out.

          "I'm sorry." I heard the person say and as soon as I looked to see who it was, I was surprised. What the hell was Eve doing here?

         "Oh, it's you. Damn, you are so fucking clumsy." I snap at her.

         "I'm not always. I just..." she began but I needed to know why she's even here.

          "What the hell are you doing here?!" I demanded.

         "I'm staying here now." She tells me without making eye contact.

         "What? No! You aren't staying here!" I snap at her.

         Then Trey and Char came running out of their room towards us.

          "What happened?! What's going on?!" Trey asks.

         "What the hell is she doing here?!" I asked Trey.

         "Oh yeah." Trey began while yawning. "I was gonna talk to you about it last night but you came in too late and I already passed out." He begins. "I went to see Axel and he didn't have the money. So he gave us her as collateral." He says to me casually as if it's no big deal.

           "What?! What kind of collateral is that?! I need money, not her." I tell him.

          "Stone, look, I was hesitant at first too but you know what, Char could really use the help around here with the cleaning and cooking." He says.

           I look at Eve who I can tell by the look on her face that she isn't happy and looks almost likes she's going to cry.

           I then take in a quick deep breath and let it out before replying.

          "Fine. She can stay." I tell him. Then look over at Eve, "But you better not try anything funny. And you sure as hell better not steal from me neither." I warn her.

           She doesn't reply by saying anything. Instead she just nods her head in agreement.

           "She's both of your guys' responsibility." I tell both Trey and Char before walking passed them into my bedroom to change and to take another shower.

          I'm thinking that I might need to keep my distance from her, especially when it comes to hot things.

          For the next few weeks, I have been doing good at keeping my distance from her and passing by her only when I was either on my way out or headed towards my room late at night.

           I still wasn't close in finding out who has been taking money from my business from the shipments but I feel as though I need to take a break. Which in a way, that's what today was all about.

         Today happened to be the day of the Breast Cancer Awareness charity party we hold at the huge park by us every year. Char happens to be a survivor from it and she actually put it all together and thousands of people, including other bikers, have always come and donated a great amount.

         After arriving at the park, I started walking around and saw some guys that I haven't seen in a while and catch up a little with them.

        Then out the corner of my eye, I saw Axel, who I had no idea was coming, but I saw him walk up to Eve who was helping out and in charge of a face painting stand for kids and adults.

         I don't like the fact that he is here, let alone not afraid to flirt with Eve.

        So I decide to walk over and have a 'talk' with them both that this was not the place or the time.

        I know it sounds like I am jealous or that I care about either of them, but I don't. I just don't want any drama or bullshit to go on, I ain't allowing for that today. Especially here. Cause I know as soon as Rosalie see's them both, it will be hell released.

        As I began walking over though, I stopped when I was halfway as I saw Axel get up and walk away. Then when I looked at Eve, she looked like she was uncomfortable and a little worried and almost as though she was about to cry.

       Which I wonder why. Could it be that he broke up with her or something? Fuck it, who cares. All I know is that at least now I don't have to worry about any drama happening.

         The rest of the day was awesome and we raised a shit load of money. All volunteers were awesome enough to help out and I had greatly appreciated it.

          Though by the end of the night, I was tired as hell and I needed to get to bed anyways since tomorrow I had a few meetings to conduct. So I was about to head towards home when as soon as I had pulled out of the parking lot, I saw Chris from the coffee shop and Eve talking and laughing. Then she got into his car with him and left.

          Damn, she doesn't waste anytime does she? No wonder I have seen her a few times get special treatment at the coffee shop from him. I never would've thought it was cause she was fucking him.
