~EVE~
I hadn't expected the person knocking on my door would be Stone. Out of all the people, I didn't want to see him.
So I tried wiping the tears from my eyes and tried to pull myself together as soon as I saw it was him.
"I uh...." He began but seemed to be struggling for words.
"You don't have to say anything. I'm sorry for all of this. For bringing all this shit to you and your club." I began.
"You didn't bring anything to my club." He begins to say as he starts to make his way over to me and sits down an arm length beside me in the bed. "If anything...." He began to say but I didn't want to hear what he had to say. I wasn't in the mood.
"Please just go." I tell him as I lay down in bed on my side with my back turned towards him.
"Eve, I..." he began but I stopped him.
"I said, please go." I repeated and this time I heard the door close shut.
I'm not sure what he would have said but I sure as hell wasn't in the mood to hear it. In fact, I am finally deciding right here and now, that I will NOT become a victim. I will NOT be one anymore. Starting tomorrow, I'm gonna become stronger and better. I'm not gonna let guys like Axel and Stone get to me anymore. Or even Rosalie.

When I woke up the next morning, I had decided that I was going to go and get a job at the coffee shop with Chris and start making my own money and become more independent and to save enough up to get the hell out of here and away from all this bullshit.
Luckily, Stone was gonna be gone all day so I didn't see him this morning.
So today, I walked down to the coffee shop to talk to Chris.
"Morning gorgeous." He said.
"Morning." I smiled at him.
"What's going on? Is everything okay?" He asks.
"It will be." I replied.
"Good. So you want the usual?" He asks me.
"Actually, I was hoping I could have a job."
"Really? You wanna work here?" He asks.
"Yeah. Unless you're not hiring." I tell him.
"I'm not but, I could always use the extra help and would love to have you work here." He smiles.
"Okay. Well, do you have an application?"
"We can do that later. Right now, if you're okay with it, how about I show you a few things and you can start right away?" He suggests.
"Okay." I reply excited.
"Great. Well, come on back here, put your stuff down and we'll get started." He smiles.
"Okay. Awesome." I reply.
Since I'm a fast learner, I pick up on all the things he shows me right away.

For the next week with working and not having to see Stone or Trey or anyone, even at work, was really good. And being able to see Chris and Frank almost everyday was awesome.
It felt good to be able to make my own money and not be in constant fear. Everyday I could feel myself getting better and stronger.
The morning I came in here to ask Chris for a job, after I woke up, I don't know if it was an epiphany or what exactly. However, what I do know is that I became someone different. I just woke up and said to myself 'enough is enough'.
Today went by fast and I really liked working here. Mostly of course cause it was with Chris.
Then after we closed, I had grabbed my bag and said goodnight to Chris before walking out to my Uber I had called and right as I walked outside, I stopped as I saw not an Uber, but Stone, standing by his bike facing me.
He then begins walking up towards me. And for some reason I felt like I couldn't move.
"Hey." He says all cool and casual.
"Hi." I reply.
"I wanna talk to you. Let's go grab a bite to eat." He says.
"Why? There's nothing we need to talk about." I assure him.
"I'm not asking you. Now come on." He says a little bit more firm but still not aggressively.
So I just roll my eyes and get onto the back of his bike and we take off to a small Mexican food joint that he likes going to.

After we got our order and began to eat, I thought I would just dive right in and get whatever he wanted to talk about.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked.
"About the other night and a few other things." He says as he takes another bite from his burrito.
"Okay. Let's hear it." I tell him.
"Well, first off, I want to talk about the other night and how I wanted to assure you that you didn't bring any shit to the club. Ever since I met Axel I have hated him and have hated Trey for always defending him. I am trying to get solid proof of Axel fucking up and causing a lot of shit for the club, to show Trey." He begins.
"Like?" I asked curious.
"For one, I have reasons to believe that my most recent shipments that have turned up being short of the payment, I feel he may be part of it. But I'm someone who goes off proof. As does Trey. But the other night, when I heard about what all Axel and Rosalie has done to you and the way Trey reacted to it, I don't know about him even anymore."
"I see." Is the only thing I can think of saying.
"I wanted to tell you that night that Axel really was gonna pay for what all he did to you. Even if I find out he isn't the one that is the reason for money missing from my deals, I will still make sure that he pays for what all he did. As well as Rosalie." He tells me.
We share a brief moment of silence between each other cause I am trying to take all of this in. Is he really trying to look out for me? Does he really care? I don't understand.
"I do appreciate it. But I'm curious, what's the reason why you want to help me? I mean, I overheard you mention your sister. What happened to her?" I asked.
Then I saw him drink his beer and try to hold back some tears as well as anger, before being able to begin telling me.
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
He will talk about his sister. Not details/specifics, but so you know what happened.
