Chapter 10

Destiny's P.O.V

"GOD DAMMIT!" Someone yelled while slamming the front door.

I was sitting in the living room on my phone with Spencer while Drew and dad were cooking.

I looked over and saw Jason sitting on the bench by the door, wear we put our shoes under.

"Jason?" I asked.

"Sorry but I had to get away from Nicki" he said

"No ur welcome here anytime" dad said from behind me.

"What happened?" Drew asked.

"Well Nicki is going crazy, her wedding planner just dropped her cause she had a better offer, we found out that the usual babysitter we hire didn't do her job right and was doing things which effected the baby, now the baby has a cancer, not that bad but still, Nicki is trying to sue the babysitter and it's all crazy" Jason said

"Dam that's a lot" Spencer said.

"That's awful" Drew said.

"Oh my god" dad said.

And I just stood there with wide eyes. The only person to know why is dad, and Nicki but she isn't here.

I got up from sitting next to Jason's and ran out the front door almost in tears.

"NICKI WHAT HAPPENED!" I yelled as I ran into their house.

"Did Jason tell you?" She asked.

"Yeah about dani" I said

"I told him not too!!! I knew you would freak cause this would remind you of Carson" she said.

"What did the babysitter do?" I asked

"She was smoking really illegal drugs around the baby with her friends, all the smoke that the baby breathed in caused her to get this cancer, it's not that serious but I can't believe it happened" she said holding dani

"How did you find out she was smoking it with her friends?" I asked.

"Well we came home early once from a date and when we came in she had dani in her swing thing in the living room while smoking and watching tv" she said and paused.

"When we usually got back from where ever she seemed so nice and dani looked peaceful so we never checked the security Cameras cause we never had suspicion. And we watched the camera from when she babysitter and we saw her 2 other girls and 3 guys. So 3 girls and 3 boys" she finished

"Do know who they were"

"I only recognized the babysitter" she said.

We went to a room and watched the tapes from those nights.

I had her pause at some part so I could see if I knew them. She told me the sitters name was Lily Colans. I don't know her but the last name Colans sounds familiar.

I paused it at this one part that the 2 other girls looked like Becca and Christy. But I knew they wouldn't have done that.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow I gotta get to bed" I said. I went back home.

I woke up and got some random things on.

I called Christy and she answered.

"Hello" she said.

"Hey" I said.

"Oh what's up destiny"

"Nothing, hey I have a question?" I said

"Oh yeah go ahead" she said.

" do you know someone named Lily Colans?"
