"First name basis aren't we?" you said as you raised your eyebrows at him.
"Oh. I'm sorry l/n-chan."
"Oh my! I didn't think you would actually fall for that. It's all cool." you say with a smile.
"Kei." you said as you winked at him. You turned to the lady in the counter and smiled. You gave your payment but before you could take your dessert, the lady suddenly spoke up.
"Kei! Your wrist!" she screams as Tsukishima just nodded.
"Yes, Mom. I know." he said as he sat on one of the chairs.
"Wait, Mom?" you asked as you turned to the lady again as she smiled at you.
"Yes, I'm her mom. You two seem like good friends. I can only hope you're his soulmate." she said with a bright smile as you just gulped and stood there in silence. Tsukishima just coughed.
She suddenly looked over to your wrist as she put her hand over her mouth in shock.
"Y-you're soulmates?!" she asked as she jumped for joy.
"And you both like strawberry shortcakes oh mygod this is amazing!"
"Are you actually blushing for us, mom?" Tsukishima asked as his mom was squishing his cheeks while giggling.
Tsukishima escapes from his mom's grasp and grabbed your hand to run. Before you could leave, you waved goodbye to his mom.
"Why did we run?" you ask him as you're finally out of the bakery.
"She'll just pester you with weird questions." he said.
"And you don't want me to answer them because you'll be a blushing mess." you said as you smirked.
"No I won't be a blushing mess. Shut up!" he said as he turned to the opposite side.
"Well, this was fun but I have to home." you said. Before he could volunteer to walk you home, you squeezed him for a hug and he froze. You ran to your home with a sheepy and silly smile as you realized how cute your soulmate is.
