living lies

"Zayn? Zayn?" I said. I was just talking to zayn through mindlink but out of nowhere it ended. "I did that" i heard a mysteriously voice say making me jump. I instantly look up and face a man that is about the same height as zayn and looks extremely familiar. It was weird. It was like I've seen him before but i'm pretty sure i have never known any wolves before i met zayn.

"Monique" he said. "H-how do you know my name" i said. "Monique its me ,chris," he said. The name did sound familiar but i just can't think of it. He started walking towards me resulting in me flinching backwards.  ¨listen monique i'm not gonna hurt you. but we need to talk so you can understand whats going on" chris said. ¨why did you bring me here. how do you know me.¨ i said quickly. ¨listen monique your gonna have to sit  down for the information i'm about to tell you. ok?¨ chris said. 

 He laid his hand on my back and led me towards the front room. i just stared at him blankly whilst he sat me down on the couch. He took a seat across from me and took a deep breath.

 ¨ok monique listen. your life hasn't been as normal as you think it has¨ he said. ¨what are you talking about¨ i said confused. ¨monique i'm your brother¨ he said.  I couldnt hold back my laughter.  So all at once i started laughing while hitting my leg. ¨seriously come on when are you gonna tell me¨ i said trying to calm myself down. ¨monique im serious¨. he had a concerned blank serious face so i stopped laughing and listened to him.

 ¨But i thought you were a werewolf¨ i said. ¨i am a werewolf¨ he said. ¨but  your not making any sense. I'm not a werewolf  i'm a human and my family sure aren't werewolves either¨ i said. ¨yes it is true that you are a human but..... me, mom, dad, and louis are werewolves he said. ¨but that doesnt make any since¨ i said. 

¨monique listen. this may not be what you were expecting but i have to tell you the truth since mom and dad wont.............your ADOPTED!!!!!!!!.¨ he said. 

I just sat there blankly not knowing what to do. i was extremely confused and didnt know how i should react. I got lost into space thinking about all the signs that i should have noticed. But i couldn't think of anything.

"Monique there's more to tell you" he said. I looked up to him ending my thoughts. "What else" i said. "Dad is the beta of jericho's pack" he said.

I couldn't do anything but stare at him. It was a lot to take in. "What do you mean he's the beta. If he's the beta then why did jericho kidnap me and beat me" i asked. "Remember how mom and dad always went to grandmas house for the weekend". "Um..yes" i said. "Well they weren't going to grandma's house they were visiting the pack"he said.

 I realised that it all made since. Every single weekend they would leave the house claiming they were going to grandma's house. They would always make sure i had plans during the weekend and whenever i didn't i insisted on going with them but they would make up excuses and insist on me staying home.

"One day jericho found out about you and wanted to make you his luna but mom and dad kept you hidden and wouldn't allow him to. He started to threaten them that if they wouldn't give you away he would kill them and you. They thought if they ran away from him and never came back he would think you left also" he said. "So he wasn't trying to get me because of zayn" i said. "No. But there's also something you should know" he said. "What is it" i said. "Mom and dad escaped from jericho so he wouldn't be able to find you" he said. "What do you mean" i said. 

"They never died..... They ran away and faked their death so you would think they died. They had to run away so jericho wouldn't be able to track them down and find you" he said. I started hyperventilating. I didn't think anything could get worse than this. All the lies that I've grown up believing. All the lies I've been told since birth. My whole life was a lie. How could they lie to me.

 my entire life.......I've been living lies....... As i was hyperventilating i touched my chest trying to calm down. Chris reached for me and held me in his arms wiping my tears that i didn't know had fallen. "Monique calm down calm down"  he said.

I tried to calm down but i couldn't. I was so hurt. i soon started to feel my eyes getting heavy. As my eyes were closing lower and lower my body started to weaken. The last thing i saw before my eyes completely shut was chris looking down on me with worried eyes. Even though i didn't know my brother that well i felt safe in his presence for some reason.

ZAYN POV

when me and monique's conversation was ended i tried to contact her again but it wouldn't go through. I couldn't comprehend what was going on. who is the person that saved her from jericho and helped her escape. And why would he kidnap her also if he was helping her,but why would he help her.... 

i sat there aggravated and annoyed rubbing my hands into my hair trying to come up with the missing pieces and piece everything together. whilst i was looking through any type of evidence to tell me where she is i felt monique having mixed emotions. i could feel that she was sad, angry, confused, but at the same she still felt safe. "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS PERSON" i yelled at the top of my lungs pushing everything off of my desk.

I started to get angry and wanted answers. I midlinked nate to come to my office and bring our sorcerer with him. "nate"i said with a much deeper octive since i was mad. "yes alpha" he answered. "come to my office with mr.evans quickly"i said immediately closing off our mindlink. A few minutes later he walked in with mr. evans behind him. "now that you are both here i need you to do something for me" i said. "yes alpha" nate said. "as you know monique has been kidnapped by jericho but what you don't know is someone helped her escape then kidnapped her again" i said. 

They both stared confused as i was at first. "what do you need us to do alpha" mr. evans said. "I need you both to work together to find out who the man is that took her and find out where she is"i said. "yes alpha" they both said together and bowed. "you may leave now"i said. They both left the room leaving me to find out more information myself. I decided to find her family tree but it was nowhere to be found. it was like monique wasn't from a family. I decided to get some rest and let mr evans and nate do their job. 

Thank you for reading the alphas human luna. To be honest i was being a little lazy and stopped writing but now i'm back. 

In this chapter we found out A LOT!!!!! Monique is adopted basically and the mysterious man is her BROTHER!!!!! wtf. i know a lot of people thought he was gonna be an ex boyfriend or they would fall for eachother but i'm not gonna hurt zayn like that lol. But what do you think will happen now that monique found out her parents are still living and she's been living a life of lies. well we'll never know until the next chapter......
