"No I can't," Laurie threw her phone on the couch.
"Can't or won't?" Ember glared at her.
Laurie rolled her eyes sitting back down, "Come on guys this is bullshit!"
"But we have to save Noel -"
"Why are you so concerned about my boyfriend haven?" Laurie glared at Haven.
"Laurie calm down-"
"NO RICHIE, IT'S MY BOYFRIEND THAT'S BEEN KIDNAPPED!"
"THEN WHY NOT SAVE HIM?!" Richie yelled.
"You think I wanna die?!" Laurie exclaimed.
"If you don't play you'll die anyway, at least you have a chance," Ember stared at her.
Laurie sighed, "Fine." She stood back up grabbing her phone.
"Better leave now, Noel might not have a lot of time left," Aaron mumbled watching Laurie walk out the door.
"Really?" Danny raised an eyebrow. He heard what Aaron said and it just left him feeling confused.
"At the rate she's going he'll be dead," Aaron stared at the door.
Ember stared at him then at her phone, "Not on my watch." She stood up walking to the door.
"Where are you going?" Xavier asked .
"I'm not just gonna let her die, I'm gonna follow her and make sure she comes back alive," she left the room but was stopped by Richie.
"Em don't," he grabbed her arm."Something bad could happen to you if you interfere."
Ember snatched her arm away but stood there thinking about what he said, "Fine, but I'm gonna text her in a hour to see how she's doing. In the mean time we should stay here for a few hours."
The friends nodded in agreement before they remained silent, some were waiting for another message and the other half was hoping they weren't next.
Hours later the sun began to set on Dodger Road.
Laurie looked at the eerie buliding before walking slowly inside.
As she walked through the empty hallways of the hospital her phone vibrated.
Unknown: Dr.Denver you're needed in room 35 😉
Laurie's eyes widened then immediately ran to find the room number.
She almost slipped on something on her way there but ignored it walking into the room.
There lay Noel still unconscious, "Babe!" Laurie rushed over to him.
She jumped feeling her phone vibrate.
Unknown: Poor Noel he doesn't look so well 😂
Laurie gritted her teeth before replying.
Laurie: What the hell did you do to him?
Unknown: Now Now Laurie let me explain.
Unknown: As I said we're gonna play operation, you're gonna get to dig into your man candy's body and take out the right organ.
"What?" Laurie mumbled feeling sick to her stomach.
Unknown: In one of Noel's organs are a hand full of maggots, you have 10 minutes to find and take out the right organ I tell you to take out.
Laurie looked over at Noel in disgust then back at her phone.
Laurie: With what tools am I supposed to do this task?
