"On news today pieces of a car were found all over Kingston Road this morning, the person in the car is still unidentifiable. Detectives are still searching the crime scene for any evidence that was missed -"

Ember shut the tv off and tried calling Laurie but immediately stopped realizing that it was no use, Laurie was dead. Noel was dead and so was Renae...

Ember got her bookbag and her coat before walking out the door.

She got in her car and just sat there thinking.

"Plain Sight" she mumbled thinking about who could possibly be behind this.

"It'd have to be someone that knows us, someone that-" she was interrupted by her phone vibrating.

It was the unknown number.

Unknown: You missed the fireworks last night 😢😂

Unknown: Don't worry I took a video.

A video message was sent a minute later, Ember immediately clicked it.

It was a video of a car exploding, car parts and fire flew everywhere.

Ember swallowed the saliva in her mouth, she had to be sure it was Laurie.

Ember: You killed Laurie??

Unknown: Duh 😒

Ember bit her lip staring at her phone for a minute.

Unknown: The next game will begin soon, ttyl 😉

Ember threw her phone in the backseat and drove to school.

Once she got there it was complete chaos, there were poilce officers and detectives questioning almost every student.

"Crap, news spreads fast," she mumbled parking her car.

Ember tried to avoid the officers but one of her classmates spotted her and pointed.

"Excuse me ma'am!" An officer caused Ember to stop walking.

She slowly turned towards the man walkimg up to her, "May I help you sir?"

"Are you Ember Sanders?" The officer asked.

Ember nodded slowly biting her bottom lip.

"Okay do you know anyone by the name of Laurie Denver?" The officer asked. "Her car had exploded last night, it seemed to have been sabotaged."

Ember was about to say yes but Aaron's word's ran through her head.

"You think anyone will want a psychologist that was probably responsible for the murder of her friend?"

"No," she said with a look of "worry" on her face.

"My mistake, your classmate over there said that you and miss Denver were pretty close."

Ember didn't know how to respond so she just shrugged,"I'm sorry." she slowly backed away.

Once she was inside the school she called Richie, he was the only one available. Everyone was either in school or work, or dead.

"What's up," he answered.

"Richie it was Laurie's car," was all she said.

Ember heard him sigh, "Did you get a message from ya know..."

"I did," she mumbled.

"So you know about tonight's game?" Richie responded. He wanted to know what if Ember got a message, and if it was the same one he had got. "Well?"
