Chapter 1♤The Conversation

I yawned and stretched, my back arching as I did. I had just awoken from a catnap and is now ready to wake my siblings, whom were probably downstairs with mom and dad. I ran down the stairs excitedly, but carefully. Even if I was trying to be careful, I tripped over my paw and in a second, I was tumbling down the stairs. I landed on something soft, grey, and warm. It was Rainbow!
Rainbow~

Funneh~

Rainbow lept up, maybe about 2 feet and as she landed, she glared at me. "What was that for Funneh?!" She yelled at me and I head someone else paw up behind me. I turned to see Draco. Dad always makes him wear this bow tie thing because he says 'This is what a gentleman wears' every time Draco begins to fuss about it.
Draco~

"What's going on over here?" He asks as he paws at the bowtie. "Funneh fell on me!" Yelled Rainbow as I sat down and licked the back of my paw. "Not her fault that she's clumsy and you were lying at the end of the stairs." Another voice says. It was Lunar. Her and Gold walked over to us and sat down.

"Hey! I just somehow fell asleep there! It's not my fault either!" Rainbow yelled. She shook and the bell on her pink collar jingles. We all have collars with bells. Mine is blue, Lunars is purple, Golds is yellow, and Dracos is  green. He wears it under his bowtie. Suddenly I hear loud footsteps behind us and I look up to see mom and dad. They're what the other animals call humans. I don't think they're our real mom and dad but they're the last thing I remember. I actual don't remember much of anything... the only thing I remember is waking up in this house with The krew. I shake the thought off and run to them, so do the others. Mom picked me and Lunar up and rubbed me behind the ears and Lunars back. Dad got Draco, Gold and Rainbow. Afterwards they put us down and Mom said," You five are just too adorable! But we have to go talk now. Be good and stay down here, okay?" After they left to go upstairs, I began tagging behind them. "Funneh! Where are you going? They said stay down here!" Gold yelled at me. I looked at her and shrugged, then continued. I went very slowly to avoid my bells jingling. I could hear the others following me and I smiled to myself. We turned the corner and snuck into mom and dad's room where they were sitting in bed. We all crawled under it and listened. "Well, they know we have them.. We can't just let them take them from us! They're like our family!" Mom says. "I know, but what else can we do? They're highly intelligent kittens. There are still things we do not know about them. If they actually found us, they're not going to let us keep them!" Dad says. He sounded stressed. I don't know what he meant by highly intelligent, but I ignored that and continued listening. "We could sell them... get them out if our hands until were in the clear." Mom suggests and I gasp slightly. "Yes, that could work. We can put up an add for them tomorrow. Come on, let's go take pictures." Dad said right before I heard a ringing sound. I looked back at Draco who had rung his bell while removing the bowtie. In a few seconds we saw dad's face looking at us, then he dragged us out and placed us on the bed. I stayed clear of him and mom. I can't believe they were going to sell us! Every time one of them reached for me I moved away, then after a while, I ran. I heard my siblings running as well. We ran through the cat door, across the street slippery with ice, and into the town, full of light. I don't know how long we ran until we came to a stop. I turned to see everyone was still here, and mom and dad were gone. "So... We just ran away from home..?" Lunar asked and I nodded. "If they don't want us, then we'll live on our own!" Gold says enthusiastically. That enthusiasm disappeared quickly as a car drove by and scared us half to death. Next thing I knew we were running through a forest, then what happened next was a blur to me.
