Chapter 8: cold

Y/n pov

I was being awakened by a very warm feeling...not just warm but hot!

I burst my eyes wide open to see a certain fluffy right beside me,freezing.
His hands were shivering,his teeth were cluttering.

I immediately check his temperature by comparing mine to his'.

"HOLY! you're hot! By hot i mean- nvm! I have to bring you to the hospital!"
I was shaking his shoulder in panick.

"Ugh! Shut it (y/n) you're so noisy!"

He groaned and just turned the other way around.

"You have a fever!! I gotta  bring you to the hospital!"

"You're overacting! Its just a fever" he sighed

"JUST A FEVER? YOU COULD DIE BECAUSE OF IT!"

"ZZZZZZZZ"

*BANG*

"OOW!"

"Why'd you did that?"

He added while sitting up, rubbing his forehead.

"Change now! Hospital! Go!"

I strictly commanded in a serious tone.

"You could just take care of me...here"

He sighed and went back to sleep

"Oh yeah?but what if you'll get a heart attack?i dont want to cpr with u"

"What the heck are you thinking? Heart attack?nvm that but CPR? Im not drowning! Hello?it's just fever?"

He said waving his hand in front my face.

"......"

"Ugh just pipe down will ya? I'm still sleepy" he groaned

He went back to sleep while I went to the kitchen to make soup.

I put a wet towel on his forehead to lessen his temperature.

It's still a bit early and i dont want to bother Gon and Feitan with their slumber, so I'm going to take care of Killua by myself.

I have to go to the market which is at the side of this hotel and maybe I'm gonna have my time to get some things,so I left a note beside the sleeping furball with a pill for his fever. And also the soup I made.

I made my way to the market but on my way there I saw Feitan with a blonde girl, laughing and smiling.

I froze in my spot not knowing what to do.
So i just pretended that I didn't see them and made my way to the market.

"Mallows check...sugar check...flour check..." I mumbled as I picked the ingredients that I'm looking for.

'Maybe I should get Killua some chocolates?' I thought

Without some hesitation, i made my way to an isle that has many kinds of chocolates. I don't know what kind of chocolate Killua likes so i picked each kind and put it in my basket.

As I got all the things I needed, I immediately made my way to the counter and paid for it, before running back at the hotel.

I slammed the door open but not making a sound, I made my way towards the bedroom by tiptoeing.

'I see, he didn't touch the soup then he still didn't wake up.' I thought

I touch the bowl not expecting it to be so hot, causing me to shriek making the silverette groan.

I placed the bags on the counter of the kitchen then suddenly I hear a loud thud coming from the direction from where killua is.

"Ow" he mumbled rubbing his forehead

"What happened?" I asked him while helping him getting up,yet he stumbled a bit but I still held him.

"I just fell.." He said while placing himself on the bed.

I sat beside him while handing him a pill and a glass of water, signalling him to drink it.

"No" he spat

"Drink it or else" i threatened

"Or else what?" He smirked

"Or else you cant eat chocolates anymo-"

I was cutted off when he immediately put the medicine in his mouth and drink the water.

"Good boy" I said as i pat his head

"I'm not a kid"

"You sure act like one" I laughed at his reaction.

"So where's my chocolate?" He said while checking my hand if I was holding one.

"At the kitchen"

He was going to stand up but I pushed him down again.

"Deserts later, soup for now" I sternly said while mixing the soup i made

"Bu-"

"No buts or else no chocolate"

Then he grabbed my hand which is holding a spoon then shoved into his mouth and repeating the process.

*BURP*

"I'm full! That soup sure is good! Where'd you bought that?" He asked rubbing his tummy. I blushed at his comment.

"I-i made it..." I mumbled

"Woah! You sure can make a good wife!" He grinned

'W-w-w-wife?!' I blew a fuse making steam came out of my ears mentally of course

"It's embarrassing BaKA!" I shouted at him.

"Oho now you're embarrassed" he said sarcastically

"Shut up! Now you should just go to sleep! And rest!" I commanded

"Hai! Wifey!" He winked at me

*badump*

Shit!my heart skipped a beat!!! The way he said it..then he winked at me!! Ahhh!!I swear i look like a tomato right now!

"Ha!cutie..." He mumbled before going back to sleep

He's torturing me! If I'll fall for you! You either should catch me or else!!

I'm going crazy because of his actions lately!

He doesn't like me as more than best friend but it seems like he likes me more than that.

He's making me confused... I don't wanna lose him in either way...
