I was still floating in the cloud that was last night. Work was a breeze, I was enjoying every second of chaos that this event offered. My entire office was cleaned and reorganized by the end of the day. I was completely caught up on shift reports. Who would have ever guessed that a great lay would make me the most productive I've been in months.

I had been so productive, that I forgot that I said I would call him. I looked at my phone, waiting for some sort of phone call or text, but it wouldn't come. I only had his number, he didn't have mine. Was this a move by him? Was he testing me? I wanted to call him, but now that I put the idea in my head that this was a test, I couldn't give in. Either way, I can't let him think that he has all the power right away.

As soon as I had that thought, my wrists started to ache. The thick leather pushed into my skin just enough. It was tight and held my arms back, my shoulders perfectly pulled. Im sure it made my breasts look up and perkier than they were.

"Clara! Helllooooo! Clara!" Lorin said while waving her hands in front of my face.

"Oh, jesus, hi. What are you doing here? Isn't today your day off?" I asked, trying to recover.

"Yes, but I had a great night and Joseph just called and said that Mr. Holt is being especially grumpy today. So, I had to come find out what the hell you did to him to piss him off?" She giggled.

"He's upset? I didn't do anything. I thought we had a great night, like a really great night." I was rambling. When I feel like I have upset somebody I melt into a puddle of anxiety. "I have to find out what happened. I mean I don't care if it was a one-night thing, that's fine, but I just need to know if I did something. I don't like to piss people off."

"Clara, you need to calm down. I'm sure he just misses you and wants more."

"You don't know what more is, because you don't know about last night." I hissed.

"You're right. I don't have a clue. Enlighten me, I am so curious now." Lorin laughed, not letting my attitude get to her.

I sighed and melted back into my chair. I spun around, trying to think where I should start. The counter? The belt? The car? That belt just keeps coming back into my head. I couldn't do anything, I could only feel him in me and around me.

"A belt!?" Lorin asks surprised.

"I didn't mean to say that out loud. We are done with this conversation. Done!" I blushed and regained my composure. I became much too aware of how my pants were pulled up a little higher. The inseam hitting my clit when I moved in the chair just right. Fuck, I must call him. No, I should go to the Holt building and see what I can do. If he gets to come to my work place to violate me, then I should be able to do the same.

The drive to his building was familiar. When I first moved here I would drive around downtown all the time, just because I love the hustle and bustle. Besides the job offer right after I graduated, I loved Minneapolis and all it had to offer. City life and pretty lights but a quick drive on the highway and the concrete jungle is barely there.

The Holt building was huge. It was all glass, a building made of mirrors. I suddenly got nervous, I had no idea what I was doing. How would I even know where to go? Even if I did know where he was, I'm sure they don't just let you go knock on his door unannounced. As I climbed the stairs to the sliding doors, I became even more intimidated, everyone here was walking around, happy. It was relaxed and laid back. The people were roaming the campus, laughing, innovating, sharing ideas.

When I walked in, everything was clean and crisp, but the feeling was totally organic. The center of the building was hollow. You could basically loop and and see the top of the building. There were two elevators in the center, all glass of course, this place was gorgeous. The entire color scheme was grey and shiny, but there were spurts of green everywhere you looked. Plants and vines, perfectly accenting the clean edges. In the center of the main floor was a welcome desk. I made my way towards one of the receptionists.

"Welcome to the Holt Building! If you go up the stairs to the first floor, you'll find the cafeteria, gym, café, and meeting rooms." She hands me a sheet of paper with floor numbers and descriptions, "This tells you what department is on what floor. The floor numbers in red are for employees only, unless you have an appointment. Whew! That is always quite the spiel. Ok, what can I really help you with?" She smiled at me.

This place was bright, and the employees were happy.

"I, uh, I am here to see Mr. Holt"

"Ok, what is your name and scheduled appointment time?"

"Uh, well, you see, I don't have an appointment. I, uhm.." I stuttered, I had to be clever, there was no way I was going to get up to him without an appointment. "I work at The Linear Event Center, he had left some documents, and I assured him that they would be hand delivered, he said they were important. Did he not mention, I was coming today?" I spoke confidently.

"Oh, no his assistant didn't mention it. Sometimes it takes awhile to get information to us from upstairs. I'm sorry, I really can't let you up without an appointment."

"Is there any way you can look the other way on this one, I promised him that these documents would get to him today..."

"Clara, is that you?" I heard a familiar man's voice. I turned to see Joseph, bouncing towards me. After being in the building now, I can see why Joseph is such a happy man. He pulled me into a hug. "What are you doing here? Isn't this place amazing?"

The lady at the welcome desk looked surprised.

"Ms. Lane, can you please get me an access pass for Ms. Engel here? I'm going to take her upstairs, give her the grand tour!"

"Uh, yes absolutely Jo." She looked at me apologetically. I returned with a smile, I hope I didn't get her in trouble. She hands me a lanyard with a card that said, 'Guest #456'.

"Thanks Joseph, I came by to surprise him, he did to me the other day, so I was...look, Lorin told me he wasn't in a great mood and I just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything." We got in the elevator and made our way up after Joseph swiped his card.

"He really isn't in the best mood today, but I think he is getting better. I doubt it was anything you did, if anything, he is angry I called him last night and he showed up to the bar. Lorin told me that you guys had a 'great night'."

"We did, I thought we did."

We came up on the 30th floor, we walked into a giant open space with polished concrete floors, bamboo style tables. People were typing or scribbling away. There were artists working and drawing incredible things. In the back corner of it all was a seperated room. It had to be his office. I saw his silhouette through the blinds.

"Make yourself at home, this is my area, we don't do the cubicle thing here, I'll go get him."

"Thanks Joseph, you're really kind, I can tell Lorin really likes you."

He smiled so large. I was happy Lorin was finding someone who she enjoyed her time with. Her romance was endearing, but I just had no energy or desire for it.

I looked up and saw Joseph raising his hands in defeat at the door way. That is not good, not good at all. Another body appeared at the door way. A blonde woman slipped by the door, looked back and waved goodbye. Shit. I come at the worst time, when one of those lady visitors was sneaking out. I should leave, but I want to know more. He is just so intriguing and knowing he just had blondie bombshell in his office, made me even more curious. I stood up, pat my slacks back into place and pulled my shirt a little lower.

I walked towards the corner and smiled at Joseph. He was looking at me, shaking his head, warning me even? I approached he door way and Joseph was practically pushing his eyeballs out of his head, he was trying to silently tell me to turn around and leave.

"What could you possibly want, right at this moment? Is there a client issue? Any movement on the proposal with the city? Is my mom sick? If it is none of the above, there is no reason to be interrupting me." I hear Elias growl.

"Hi." I sheepishly say.

"Fucking hell, Joseph. Any other surprises?" Elias turns back into his room and sits down in his chair, he starts furiously typing
