We walked in through the back door, the host greeted Elias by name and took us to a table. The table was empty except for a cloth napkin and a fork. The seats were welcoming and oversized. There was a curtain track above us that circled the entire table. It was the nicest place I've ever been. Private too. Did he have plans to turn this dinner into one of his "office releases"? I'm not complaining, I just know he wanted to figure some stuff out.

"Hello!" A cheery waitress greeted me, "and welcome back Mr. Holt! What are we drinking tonight?"

"I'll have whatever top shelf whiskey you have, neat please." I smiled at her.

She looked at Elias after I gave her my order, he smirked at her and shook his head.

"Thank you, Sheri."

Sheri came back with two sparkling waters with lemon. I looked at her and she broke eye contact with me, almost an apology.

"No alcohol tonight. I need you in as clear a mind as possible. We have a lot of important things to talk about and I just don't want any liquid courage agreeing to things that you might not have agreed to, sober. I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that before."

"Uh, yeah. That was super awkward, she probably thinks I'm an alcoholic now!" I scowled.

Elias laughed. " She does not, like I said, I do all of my business meetings here, she is top notch and doesn't think anything when I bring business partners here. The food will be served shortly, I ordered ahead."

I sat looking around, taking in the dimly lit restaurant that only had a few other two tops in the small room. Elias was staring at me, smirking.

"What?" I squinted at him, mocking his sexy stare. He was so cool and casual, and I hated that he could get under my skin, just by staring at me.

"I said we have some personal things to talk about when I invited you, remember? We have questions. Did you think of some? "

Shit. No, I forgot about the question part. I mean I have questions, but I didn't write anything down. I didn't prepare that intensely.

"Uh, yep, I have questions and they are all up here in my brain. Hah.." I chuckled nervously, and Elias looked at me strangely. "You go ahead and start, you seem to have a question ready to fire."

"Okay." Elias cleared his throat. "What was your first impression of me?" He stared it me, leaning back in his chair.

Ok, weird. "Stern, kind of an ass, honestly. Super intimidating too, attractive."

He nodded. "Fair. Honesty is good. We want that, but tell me really, what was your first thought when we met at the conference?"

His hands around mine holding the coffee cup. His jawline sharp enough to cut glass. He was pissed, but I wanted him. It was too much all over again, I could feel his eyes burning into me and that same warmth returned.

"I wanted you to take me then and there." I blurted out.

"I know." Elias had his head resting on his hand now, casually leaning over the arm of the chair, he smiled.

"OK, well then why did you feel the need to stare at me so intently without saying a word for the rest of the conference. You could have said something sexy and smart and powerful and I probably would have put out right then and there. It's like you could tell I wanted someone to be in control and make me feel vulnerable. You were watching my fantasies play out in my head and didn't even think to engage?"

"You aren't that easy to read you know? You're a powerful woman yourself, that made it confusing and I am not confused often. Fantasies? I want to know more about your fantasies." He asked, even more inrigued.

"I don't have many fantasies and if I did, they happened already, so I don't know if they count as fantasies anymore."

"Fine. Fetishes, what are your fetishes. Don't say you don't have any. Everyone does."

I felt a little uncomfortable, but I liked it. This uneasiness was inviting. "In short, I like to, uh, be powerless. Have little to no control over myself in those scenarios. I like to give that power to someone else who is powerful by nature. I like to submit."

Elias' eyes got big. His smirk turned into a grin and his hands were now gripping the chair a little harder, until his body fully relaxed. His entire demeanor seemed to sigh a sigh of relief.

"I'd like to have that power over you." He said calmly.

My insides were going to fucking burst. It was exactly what I wanted to hear from him, he wanted to be in control of me. He already was, he just didn't know it yet.

"I knew it." I said quietly.

"You knew what?" He asked

"I knew you were a dominant. It was so obvious. I mean come on. Billionaire, handsome as hell, gets his way in everything, even the way you talk, you are obsessed with being in control."

"I am and watching you test me for the last few weeks has been torture. Your clever little actions and remarks. You walked right by me tonight, showing up at the office, calling me Sir on 'accident'. It makes sense now."

"You can tell I've been a Sub before? It's that obvious?" I said to him quickly.

Elias nearly spit out his drink before looking at me with wide eyes. Our food was here.
