34. Wedding Dress

Bonnie P.O.V
After I got home I went straight back to doing homework. I didn't need distractions so decided to try and not think about both Pete and Marceline.
It was now 8pm and I just finished my last piece of work from Biology.
Yeah also Pete gives out a lot of homework I mean 10 pages a week.
I finally shut my last book and fall backwards onto my soft blankets.
My phone starts to ring loudly, I pick it up to see that Marceline was calling me.
"Hello" I say softly.
"Hey babe, how are you"? Asks Marceline.
"Good nothing's been happening thankfully" I lie to Marceline.
"That's good, what you doing tomorrow"? Marceline asks me again.
"What's up with the questions"? I laugh.
"Well here's the thing after college tomorrow you, Finn and flame princess are going wedding dress shopping" Marceline tells me.
"What really thank you Marcy" I say with excitement.
"Its ok babe, have fun tomorrow" Marceline says.
"I will, talk to you tomorrow" I say.
We both hang up and I lay in my bed after putting my phone down.
Tomorrow can't come any quicker.

The next day-
I got up early and got ready for college.
I put on a light pink skater skirt and a white blouse. I paired that with black knee high socks, black denim jacket and light pink converse.
I put my long pink hair into a high ponytail and did light makeup.
I grabbed my black shoulder bag and books and headed out the door to meet Finn at Starbucks.

I walked down the long street as the sun was just starting to rise.
It was peaceful for a change and I had time to think about Pete and if I wanted to trust him or not.
I had my earphones in and was listening to pop music.
I stuffed my hands into my pockets as arrived at Starbucks.
I took out my earphones as I looked over and saw Finn by the window seat.
I walked over to him and smiled.
I sat down and saw a iced mocha.
"Thanks for the drink" I said and took a long sip of my drink.
"No problem, now tell me why you wanted to meet up" Finn told me.
I only strugged as I looked out the window.
"I know there's something wrong Bonnie now tell me" Finn demanded.
I only rolled my eyes as I took another sip of my drink.
"You know that new teacher that I have for biology" I told him.
"Yeah sure I've heard of him" Finn told me.
"He's Ash's older brother, first of all don't go all dad on me but I think Pete is a good person and he's going to protect me when Ash gets out of prison which is in a few months" I say and take another sip of my drink.
Finn stays quiet for a minute as he looks deep in thought.
"Ok fine but if he turns out like Ash then you will allow me to  beat his ass up" Finn says pointing at me.
"Yeah sure whatever" I laugh and we both shake hands.

After another half an hour at Starbucks me and Finn arrive at the college and go our separate ways.
I arrive at my biology class and I see that I'm the first one there.
I take my seat at the back of the class and take out all my books and notes for the lesson.
Pete walks into the class with a coffee and sits down at his desk.
"Hello Bonnie how are you" Pete asks me.
"Same as always" I bluntly reply taking out my phone and scrolling through instagram.
Pete gets up from his desk and walks over to my table.
He sits on the table besides mine and looks over my shoulder at my phone.
"Marceline looks more grown up now" Pete says.
"Get away you creep" I say as I put my phone away.
Pete only laughs besides me and jumps down from the desk.
"Don't worry Bon I won't take your future wife from you" Pete laughs and taps my head lightly, he turns and walks to his desk and sits back down.
"Asshole" I muter.
"Bonnie don't use such words otherwise I could give you detention" Pete says looking at me through his small glasses.
I didn't get a chance to answer him as people started to come into the class room.
I put my earphones in and lay my head on my table.

After what seemed like a million years all my classes were done and yet again Pete gave me a shit tone of homework.
"God I hate him" i think to myself as I'm walking to Finn's car.
I get in and say hello to both Flame princess and Finn.
We drive to the wedding dress shop which is located in the city.
We arrive and I feel excited.
"Come on Bonnie it's time to find your dress"! Flame princess shouts and hooks our arms together.
We walk into the shop and find that everywhere is filled with big to small dresses.
"Hello you must be Bonnie come follow me Marceline has already picked out dresses which she thinks you will like" the manager tells her and drags me to a fitting room
What feels likes hours I finally try on my last dress.
It is a light pink dress which is a bit puffy at the bottom but has a nice detailed top.
I walk out in it and Finn and Flame princess smile.
"Its the one" I say to the manager.
I can't wait for the wedding now I thought as I look at myself in the mirror.
