42. Plan in Action

Bonnie's P.O.V
I go through Marceline's clothes as I find the right things to wear to blend in with the gang crowd.
"Do you think this will be okay"? I ask Marceline as I hold up a pair of ripped black skinny jeans.
"Yeah now just get a top, leather jacket and some boots and you will be good" Marceline tells me as she looks through some of her song lyrics.
I grab the things that Marceline tells me and I go to sort out my hair and make-up.
I put on a some black and grey eyeshadow and some black eyeliner.
I put on mascara and lip balm on my lips.
I keep my hair straight but mess it up a bit.
I put on a choker and then finally look at myself in the mirror.
"I feel weird wearing all this" I tell Marceline.
She looks at me before getting up and going behind my chair.
"Bonnie I think you look good, the leather jacket suits you a lot" Marceline says.
"Are you trying to encourage me to go away from wearing pink"? I question her.
"Maybe" Marceline smirks and turns my chair so that I'm facing her.
She kneels down so that I'm above her.
"Make sure you sick with Pete okay, I don't want you to go and get kidnapped or something" Marceline says and holds my hands.
"I will try" I tell her and kiss her on the lips.
Marceline says as she kisses me back but our kiss didn't last long as we are interrupted by knock.
Marceline rolls her eyes as she turns around but stops as she sees Simon standing there. I look at him as Marceline goes and sits on the desk next to me.
"Oh I didn't realise that you too are a thing" Simon says as he slowly walks into the room.
"Oh right I forgot to mention that" Marceline says and crosses her arms over her chest.
"It's okay, well I guess it's good that you have someone to keep you company" Simon tells Marceline.
"She's good for me" Marceline simply states as her eyes meets mine.
I smile at her until Simon clears his throat and I look across at him.
"I guess I should tell you the news then" Marceline says to Simon.
"News"? Simon questions.
Marceline comes over to me and lifts my hand so that Simon could see the engagement ring.
"You're engaged, wow I never thought I would see you settle down Marceline" Simon says shocked as he takes my hand to study the ring.
"I want to start a new life and Bonnie was the one to do that with" Marceline smiles.
Simon lets go of my hand and says
"Well I'm glad that you have found someone that you love but I came here to say that Pete is ready so I guess Bonnie you can go now" Simon explains and goes out the door.
"Marcy" I say quietly.
"Yeah"? She questions.
"Will this ever be over"? I ask her as I look down at the ring on my hand.
Marceline comes over to me and lifts my head with her hand.
"Soon I promise, after we've done all this we can finally start to plan the wedding" she says as she holds my hands.
I nod my head and smile.

I make my way outside to find Pete waiting for me by the car.
I look back and see Marceline leaning agaisnt the the front door, smiling at me as I turn back around and get into the passenger side of the car.
Pete gets into the drivers seat and starts up the car before driving quickly from the house.
We don't utter a word to eachother as we arrive just near the camp as Pete stops the car.
"Okay let me do all the talking for now , you just stand there looking pretty"
"I can do more than that you know" I state as Pete reaches over to grab my hand.
I look down in confusion as he takes the engagement ring off my finger and puts it in his back pocket.
"Why can't I wear my ring"? I question Pete.
"They will probably try to steal it so just to be sure it's safe I will keep hold of it" Pete explains and opens the car door.
I quickly get out and shut my door, Pete locks the car and we both walk over to the camp.
I start to get nervous as people stare at me and Pete.
Pete puts his arm around me as people continue to stare at us.
As we reach a little van at the edge of the camp and Pete knocks on the door of the van. It opens up to reveal a boy, a little older than me and he greets us with a wide smile.
"Pete it's so good to see you, it's been ages" the boy tells him as he hugs him.
"Yeah it has been ages" Pete laughs and hugs him back.
Once they part the boy turns to me and smiles at me.
"You must be Pete's girlfriend, it's nice to meet you, he smiles and shakes my hand.
"I'm just his friend actually" I awkwardly laugh as we stop shaking hands.
"Shes actually Marceline's fiancee" Pete tells him as we step into the house.
"What really I didn't even think Marcy would date anyone after your brother" he tells Pete.
"Things have changed" Pete states as we go and sit down by the table.
"Well let me introduce myself, I'm Lucas", the boy states as he settles down in his seat in a relaxed manor.
"I'm Bonnie, nice to meet you" I say  and sit down next to Pete.
"So what are you guys here for"? Lucas asks us.
"We need to deal with something involving my brother" Pete tells him as I nervously watch them both in front of me.
"Ash hasn't been here for a while so people in the camp have started to feel frustrated with him a bit" Lucas tells us.
"That could help a lot if we had the gang on our side instead of his" I tell to them both.
"I could always try to spent a rumour about him and try to turn them against him, manipulate them into thinking that he's turned on them", Lucas suggests.
"We need to do something bigger" I tell them as I turn to look out at the small rundown campsite.

Finally got a chapter for you guys over a year later, very sorry about that. I'm planning to start uploading more but it might take a while so patience is needed .
