35. Back together

Marceline P.O.V
It was my last day on tour and I was finally getting on the plane ready to go back home and see Bonnie.
Bonnie had called me straight after her wedding dress appointment and told me that she found the perfect dress which I was glad of.
We had then spent the rest of the month calling and texting eachother.
I told her that I sorted out where the wedding would be which was that it would be in Paris.

I had arrived at my house and put my bags down on the floor. I layed down on my sofa and closed my eyes.
Only a few seconds passed and my front door flew open to reveal the pink hair girl running and jumping on top of me.
"Marceline I've missed you so much" Bonnie shouts hugging me tightly.
"Bonnie I've missed you too" I laugh as the girl curled herself around me, hugging me tighter.
"Ok ok Bon calm down" I laugh as she hugs me more.
"Fine" she signs letting go of me but then sits down next to me on the sofa.
"How have you been"? I ask her.
"Well it's this thing I wanted to talk to you about but I wanted to tell you so that you wouldn't worry" Bonnie says in a rush.
"Go ahead" I say hesitantly.
"Well it's my new supply teacher for Biology and his name is Pete. Here's the thing Pete is kind of Ash's brother. He's nothing like Ash though he wants nothing bad to happen to any of us so I trust him but I want to know if you trust him" Bonnie told me.
"I can't even speak about the guy let alone trust him. I don't trust anyone who comes from that family and I never will so don't try to convice me" I say angrily to her.
Bonnie moves away from me slightly and signs.
"You can't even give him a chance he's a good guy" Bonnie says lowly.
"A good guy, him and nice do not go in the same sentence. This isn't the first time I've heard of this Pete and even hearing his name pisses me off Bonnie" I shout getting more angry by the second.
"Why are you getting angry Marceline" Bonnie asks me.
"Because it sounds like this guy has just taken over your life, replaced me, what really makes me angry is how you couldn't even tell me first of all" I shout standing up.
"Well sorry that I cared about your well being on tour and how I didn't want you to worry, guess I won't fucking do that next time" Bonnie shouts back and now she's also standing up facing me.
I stay silent, only pacing around my living room in deep thought.
"I gave him a chance that's all I want you to do" Bonnie tells me and walks out of my house.
I hear my front door slam shut and I let out a long breath.
"Please not Pete too" I whisper as I sit back down and let a few tears go roll down my face.
"Just why Pete too" I cry as I bury my head in my hands.

Bonnie P.O.V
I storm into my bedroom and slam my door in frustration.
"That girl is driving me crazy one minute were on the same page the next were fighting about a stupid boy" I think to myself.
I grab a jacket and my phone, I text Finn to tell him to meet me by my house.
I go and stand outside my front door and sit down on the steps just staring at the pavement in front of me.
"Someone seems down" I hear a voice say to me.
"Yeah so" I mumble as I lift my head to see Pete.
"Jesus Bonnie what happened to you" Pete says and sits down next to me.
"Me and Marcy had a fight that's all" I say and shrug my shoulders.
Pete doesn't say anything after a few seconds but then puts his hand on my shoulder.
"I know what could cheer you up, how about a trip to the cafe you walk at" Pete suggests.
"I can't I'm meeting Finn in a second but maybe another time" I say and get up.
"Come on I'm sure Finn won't mind if I take you instead" Pete says and takes my hand.
"Get your dirty ass hands off her now" I hear Marceline scream and Finn trailing behind her with a worried look on his face.
Pete lets go of my hand straight away and steps to the side of me.
"Always a pleasure meeting you Marceline" Pete laughs and puts a hand out to shake hers.
"Leave Bonnie alone, don't go near her or speak to her and if you do I'm going to hurt you with my bare hands" Marceline shouts.
"You can't tell me what to do" Pete says to her.
"When it comes to Bonnie then yes I do, even if I have to stay by her every second I will" Marceline tells him and takes my hand.
"I've had enough of this why can't you be friends you both haven't even tried to talk about your problems" I say to them both.
"Its complicated" Marceline tells me.
"Sure is" Pete agrees.
"I'm done with this" I say and walk away, Finn walks with me back to my house as I leave both Marceline and Pete.
