Missi roamed around the place alone just like she used to. The silver light coming from outside guides her path inside the hollowed castle- well, not so hollowed anymore now that Duke and his gargoyle butler are back from the dead. The resurrection sure was hitting two birds in one stone.

Missi sighed.

She has to find the cane this instant for her own sake. She never wanted to leave this place. She never wanted to be the 'loser' again back in her school because by god she's tired of their bullying. So tired that she wants to run away, and it's what she's doing exactly right now. Running away from her problems by hiding here. She has to admit, she prefers this place. Dark and foreboding, with a dangerous vampire ready to, possibly, end her miserable life.

'Oh look, it's that nerd again.'

Oh god. Even in her thoughts she can't escape them.

'Don't touch that thing, or you'll catch her weirdness.'

'Ugh, why do I even bother befriending you? You're boring!'

'How awfully awkward is she? I'm actually starting to pity her existence.'

'You know what? You're bad luck, that's why do us a favor and kill yourself.'

'You're nothing. NOTHING.'

'Oh my gosh! You're so pathetic! Stay away! Ew!'

'Tell me about it.'

Missi didn't realize she just stopped walking. She blinked when her sight was all blurry and was surprised to feel tears spilling from her glassy eyes. She looks down before closing her eyes in resignation. She can feel her tears falling down from her face and she can feel a sob to come out from her now trembling lips.

"I'm so weak." Missi choked, raising her hands to cover her mouth.

That's why she wanted so badly to get ahold of that magical cane. Atleast when she has it, she never feels weak. She feels strong and ruthless to the point of being dangerous. Missi remembered how sure she was, confident of her every action with it in her grasp. It was a refreshing change.

'I'll find it in the morning.'

Missi sniffed and looks up resolutely while wiping her tears away. It's time to prove them wrong.

With that she strides along the empty corridor, heading to her room and ready to greet the morning for her to begin her search.

Missi can't remember how many turns she made only to be faced with corridors looking exactly the same with the rest. She knows the place, why is it so confusing now? She continues down the lane, hoping for a different result, only stopping in the middle of an intersection.

"Huh." She stated dumbly. Brows furrowed in confusion.

Missi looks at her right, but can't see past the shadows. She looks ahead and at her left ending her with the same outcome. With nothing else to do, she called out softly.

"Hello?" As always, even how quiet her tone was, it resonated around the area.

"Scopulus?" Please help me.

She waited, staying in her place.

Missi waited for naught as minutes ticked by. Breathing deeply, she decided to walk ahead.

As she walks deeper in the dark corridor, she can feel the temperature to drop drastically. She hugs herself to shield her exposed skin from the cold, her tear streaked face getting bitten with the chill.

'Maybe this isn't the way.'

But her legs kept on walking, powered by curiosity to see what's on the end of this particular corridor.

Several minutes passed, Missi finally got closer to the end. She can see faint light bouncing off from the far wall that sparked her interest. She's never been in here before. How curious. She sniffed, about to take another step.

"Milady, you called?"

Missi gasped, whirling around in shock. It was Scopulus.

"Yes but-"

"I'll lead you to your room. Follow please."

With a resigned sigh, Missi followed right after giving the place a longing glance.
