I was asleep in my mom's car, going down the highway, when I heard a loud bang. It echoed into the night, even over the sound of the car, you could hear it as it faded to silence.
Just then, out of nowhere, a bright flash was seen in the black night sky. It was red and faded out to orange as it descended back to darkness.
There was a solid thirty seconds of silence in the car before a heavy white fog rolled over the top of the car, down to the road. We stopped, not moving a muscle.
"What?" I said, completely dumbfounded and scared all at once. A loud siren sounded across the sky for a good fifteen seconds. Then it was silent again, I was awake.
AN: I haven't really had a nightmare in a while. I've been a dead sleeper for the past month due to stress y'all know how it is, school, finals, shit ton of homework 😂. Well I had this last night, it freaked me out, but my mom was awkae so I talked to her bout it this time.
