I walked into the white government building. The walls were blank and I had to step into a scanner before the door opened. Eric was waiting for me on the other side of the door. He wasn't wearing sunglasses, just normal ones. "Oh wow, you have eyes!" I joked. He was always wearing sunglasses when I saw him.

"Very funny." He cracked a smile and turned, leading me into a room. "Put your phone, birth certificate, social security card, uh, everything I told you to bring in there."

I deposited the belongings that identified who I was in the bin. It felt strange. It was like I was handing over my identity to the government. Everything that told who I was. I wouldn't be Brea anymore.

"Step into this."

I followed instructions.

"Close your eyes when the scanner starts."

I closed my eyes as a red light started at my feet.

"Alright you can open them. Follow me."

We went down a hallway and turned into an office.

"This is my office, so you'll probably be here a lot as we are gathering information and training."

I nodded.

"Make yourself comfortable. I'm going to go grab something."

I looked around. the room was oddly big for an office. There was a fridge, a large desk, a futon against the wall opposite the desk with a coffee table in front of it, and a fuzzy purple rug. He had screens all over the wall next to his desk. They showed different places around the world. He must've had people everywhere on jobs. On his desk was a laptop, which is probably the one he used to talk to me. He also had a few gold medals hanging on the wall below the screens. They were track medals. Hm. There was a small dog cage underneath his desk as well. Did he have a dog, or?

"What are you doing?" He walked back in as I was leaning across the desk holding one of his medals.

I quickly put it back in place and jumped back from the desk. "Nothing. I was just admiring your medals... I ran track in high school too."

"Oh yeah, I was state champion a few times. I placed at Nationals too." He said as he set down a stack of papers on the coffee table in front of the futon.

"Oh, wow. Yeah I won state in the 300 hurdles and placed in the 100 hurdles, but it's not as important."

He nodded. "That's another reason I chose you, cause you're a beast."

I laughed. "Okay.. if you say so."

He laughed, his laugh was weird. It was like he was trying not to laugh so it was kind of under his breath, but sounded like a tire losing air.

I laughed at his laugh.

He laughed louder at my laugh. What were we doing. "Ok, ok." I straightened up. "Lets get to work."

"Right, right." He huffed, sitting down on the futon. "Ok, lets start with who you are."

I stood on the other side of the coffee table. "Okay, My name is Riane Matthews. I'm married to Trojan Matthews and we've been through a lot together. I love to run, sing, draw, and do any sort of art. I am a model and am currently in the process of signing with vogue. I went to highschool in Ohio and College in New York. I moved to Panama city florida just a few weeks ago for a job. I love cheez its and pineapple smoothies. My favorite animal is a lion and I love cats even though I'm allergic to them. I go to the gym three times a week and often forget to eat breakfast. That's one of my secrets to staying skinny." I did finger guns.
