Would you ever believe if I said,
There was a time,
Where a soul,
So innocent and pure,
Had grazed this very soil? Her eyes gleamed with ambition and pride,
Her smile sparkled with kindness.
Her joyous laughter filled empty hearts,
Whilst her eyes crinkled in return. Her eyes would light up in fascination,
And her delicate voice filled an empty room.
The way she listened and you talked.
The way she sympathised with your pain. She was selfless.
She had pain.
She was beauty.
She had been slain. Her knowledge was impressive,
And her grades up to standard sweeps.
She smiled at everyone,
And she laughed at everything. But never did anyone know,
That she was drowning
On the boat she was on.
It was slowly sinking,
Drowning her along.It scared her,
But she breathed a word to no one.
She wanted to be able
To pull through on her own. Then one day,
Out of the blue,
She cried at home,
Then came to school. Her glimmering eyes had now been swollen,
Her sparkling smile had in place a frown.
She had no more laugh,
To give to the world.
She really was all alone.Piece by piece,
She helped herself up.
Picking up the
Fragments of her heart.Piece by piece,
She tried and tried.
And she picked up,
Her broken self. She repaired herself in time,
And she had once again,
Become the little girl,
Who had no friends.
