at your reflection
finally knowing
who you are
now you stare
at your reflection
finally knowing
the truth
now you stare
at your reflection
finally knowing
your worth.
it's the very
first breathe
you take
after your head's
been drowning
underwater
it's that feeling
that makes
you feel more
alive and with the laughter
you feel accomplished,
successful
and wanting to die no more
thorns are brutal-
they are harsh
but you survived
now,
when you stare
at your reflection
your proud
you made it,
chest to chest
with life
you held onto
the road
even when it was
the roughest yet
and it's the
seeing the light
in the darkest of things
you don't gotta
worry no more
cuz' you made it
those trials
and tribulations
made you stronger
than you were before
those scars
are the reasons
why you believe
in life anymore
now you stare
at your reflection
finally knowing
the truth.
you finally
found what
you were looking for
I'm glad.
just don't forget me
when you go to bed
but now you stare
at your reflection
finally knowing
your worth
