Sorry its been a while since I updated. I've just been bogged down with our final exams that I didn't have time to post this chapter :(

*One Week Later*

Sam dipped her paint brush into a can of paint thinner and raised it out. She skillfully transferred the brush to her palette without spilling one drop. She began to mash a goopy glob of cadmium red with the now wet brush. When she was satisfied with the consistency of the paint she transferred it to the canvas. With Upon This Dawning acting as background noise, Sam was completely zoned out from the world around her; it was peaceful. Well it was until Sam's phone all of a sudden blared "Champion" by Falling In Reverse; it was another one of her close friends, Jenna. Sam groaned and slammed her brush into the can of paint thinner before hitting "accept". "The hell you want?" Sam asked jokingly. "Well then!" Jenna yelled on the other line. Both of them burst out laughing. Jenna was another one of Sam's friends in kindergarden, but unlike Kat, she didn't move. Jenna had beautiful, naturally blonde hair that cascaded down to her ass in subtle waves. Unlike Sam, Jenna never covered up her face in five pounds of makeup. She had enough natural beauty to not wear any. She always wore a T- shirt with a band on it, skinny jeans, and Nike sneakers no matter the weather. If you thought Sam wore a lot of rubber bracelets, you clearly have never met Jenna. She wore so many rubber bracelets, the skin hidden underneath them was four shades lighter than the rest of her arm. "What are you doing right now?" Jenna asked politely. "Painting a rose why?" "Well I could use some artistic advise." Jenna started. "Yeah?" Sam said swirling the paint brush in the can of paint thinner. Jenna was majoring in graphic design but she went to a different school. Sam had some experience with graphic design because her brother took classes in graphic design but not much. "Shouldn't you be asking Kat? She has more experience than me." Sam said resting her chin in her hand. "I would but she's being an ass hat and is not answering her phone." Jenna said. Sam chuckled. "Fine, I'll see if I can help...shoot." Sam said getting up from her chair and grabbing a grape flavored water bottle from her mini fridge. "Okay I'm practicing some new techniques for our class. We have to design a person, real or not, and follow some guidelines but that's not important right now." "Okay... I'm guessing you're using Ronnie as your subject." Sam said planting her ass in the chair and resting her feet on the desk. Jenna was quiet on the other end. "And I'm guessing I'm right." Sam said laughing. "Shut up." Jenna said also laughing. Falling In Reverse, but mostly Ronnie Radke, were Jenna's biggest idols. She was totally obsessed with them more than Sam was obsessed with boots and high heels. "Anyway..." Sam started. "Oh yeah, well I've tried different methods and I can't get his fucking hair down!" Jenna yelled. "Are you layering?" Sam asked. "Yes!" Jenna yelled. "Layer more. When I'm doing anything digital or traditional I end up with at least five layers. AT LEAST!" Sam said. "Fine, I'll try it." Jenna said.

There was a slight pause before Jenna spoke again; "so how are you doing?" "What do you mean?" Sam asked taking a swig of water. "Its been a week since Chris left, how have you been?" Sam sighed and chugged down the rest of her water. She tossed the bottle into a near by trash can. "Fine, we've been texting a lot. We actually got plans to Skype tonight." "Oh, good for you." Jenna said. "I really hope it works out." "Yeah, me too." Sam said glancing at the clock which read eight fifteen. Sam got up out of her chair and headed to her bedroom. "Twitter fucking blew the fuck up when the rest of the creatures found out about me." Sam said opening her closet and pulling out a Sleeping With Sirens tank top. "Yeah, I noticed. Most of it is positive which is good." Jenna said. "Yeah but the other people are saying I look like a Megan Massacre knock off." Sam said rummaging through her dresser and pulling out a pair of leather short shorts. "I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or not." "Ehhh fuck what they think." Jenna said sassily. Sam put down the phone to slide off her 'painting clothes' which consisted of an 'I love NY' tank top and shorts that were already splotched with bleach stains. She quickly slid on the clothes she just picked out then picked up the phone again. "Then you have fucking Instagram." Sam said. "They start off telling Chris that they're so happy that he found me but then as you go through the feed, the captions change. By the time you get to the end of the feed, they're talking about how much they hate Ronnie's new dye job." "Hey!" Jenna yelled. "I love his red hair." Sam began brushing her hair. "Jenna you'd like Ronnie even if he shaved his head into stripes, dyed them hot pink, then tattooed 'boobies' between the hair strips." "Mlehhh!" Jenna said causing Sam to laugh while she slid on her knee high, five inch heeled, black, leather, buckle covered boots. They were her favorite shoes to date. "Jen, I'll have to let you go, I have to go to work." "Which one?" Jenna asked. "Hot Topic." Sam said grabbing her purse and Fox Head lanyard. "Okay, later." Jenna said. "Bye." Sam responded clicking the 'end call button'. She locked up her apartment and walked down the steps to the ground floor. Sarah had her hair in loose curls and wore purple lipstick today. "Off to work Sam?" She asked. "Yep." She replied. "Have a good day." Sarah said before answering the ringing phone on her desk. Sam strutted across the parking lot to her Jeep. She hoped in and plugged in her phone and put it on shuffle. "Not The American Average" by Asking Alexandria started blaring through her speakers. "Fuck yeah!" Sam yelled rolling down all her windows and punching it.
