*Ricky’s POV*

It was about ten when Balz walked through the door. He had a black and blue nose and his knuckles matched. To ease some of the built up energy from being cooped up in a hospital bed, they decided to go out and play can jam. Ricky’s team which consisted of him, Chris, and Angelo was against Ryan’s team which was Ryan, Balz, and Ghost. Currently Ricky’s team was winning thirty to twenty six. Sweat was dripping down his back and off the tip of his nose. Ricky rubbed his face with the hem of his shirt and gasped for air. "Dude, I need some water. It’s hot as fucking hell out here!" Ricky said putting his hands on his hips. "Alright man, get some from the van." Chris said rubbing his forhead with the back of his hand. "And bring us some!" called Ghost from across the parking lot. Ricky just raised his thumb in the air as he jogged across the street and around the corner. He turned the corner and ran right into a wall; well if a wall had long, red hair. "Awww dude I’m so-" Ricky started before he saw who was standing in front of him. "Sam?" Sam’s cheeks turned pink and she had that embarresed smile plastered on her face. "Surprise." Sam mumbled looking down at the ground. Ricky looked over his shoulder and saw the guys yelling as Chris put Ryan in a head lock.

Ricky grabbed Sam by the shoulders and gently pushed her back a couple feet. "So why are you here? I mean great, Chris will be glad to see you, but why did you drive all this way?" Sam brushed the bangs out of her face and began picking at the purple nail polish on her long nails. She quirkily pouted and moved her mouth side to side. Ricky guessed she was thinking on what to say. Ricky looked at her; she had a Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead top on, shorts, and combat boots. He also glanced down her arm and stopped at the bat with the Motionless In White logo on its wing. He could easily see why Chris was attracted to her. Sam finally exhaled and met his eyes. "Man Chris was right, her eyes are captivating." With only mascara and eyeliner on it brought out the natural color of her eyes. "All I kept hearing from Chris was that this tour was shit. And it is right?" Sam said draping her hair over her left shoulder. "Oh yeah, it’s been brutal. Well more brutal than usual." Ricky said shoving his hands in his pockets. "So when I heard that, as well as Chris and Balz being sent to the hospital… I stupidly thought I should come down here and make a big dinner for all of you. And it would be a lot of your favorite foods and all that kind of shit but…" Sam shook her head and fake laughed. "It was stupid." Ricky reached out and grabbed her wrists. "No it’s not. It’s so thoughtful and kind and proves that you’re not just with Chris for the "I’m dating a band member title." Sam smiled at him; "Thanks." Ricky brushed his hair out of his face. "So are you here alone or what?" Ricky asked. "No, I brought Kat and Jenna. And they should be around here somewhere." Sam said scanning the parking lot. "Kat is the one with the rainbow hair right?" Ricky asked. Sam giggled; "Yeah. We packed some stuff from my house and they went on a shopping spree at the grocery store for the rest of the supplies like an hour ago."

Sam cocked her shoulder and bit her lip. "But ummmm can I ask you to help us with this? I need some "inside" help." "Sure. Yeah, what do you need?" Ricky asked. "I need you to keep everyone out of the bus until I’m done. Like I was hoping around five maybe?" "Yeah, I can do that." Ricky said. "But I need to get some water from the bus. We’re a little beat from playing can jam for almost five hours with only a Starbucks and McDonald’s break in between." "You guys seriously threw a frisbee at cans for five hours?" Sam asked following Ricky to the bus. "And you stand at a Walmart stocking shelves and folding shirts at Hot Topic for eight hours then go to school and sit at a desk and draw for hours on end. Don’t judge." Ricky said. Sam held her hands up in defeat; "Chef don’t judge." Ricky chuckled and stopped at the bus door. "Now, I have to semi warn you on what lies beyond this door." Ricky said turning to face her. Sam pouted and slowly blinked at him; "Let me guess, piss bottles, wrappers, used condoms, underwear, an un-flushed toilet…" Ricky chuckled; "Yes, yes, no, yes, and possibly yes." Sam threw her hands up; "Great, just like growing up, minus the piss bottles though, open the damn door." Ricky shook his head; "If you say so."
