Sam unlatched Driller, her 15.2 hand Quarter Horse from the cross ties and lead him outside. She unbuckled his grey halter and turned him out to join Julie, her 18 hand high Belgian Thoroughbred mix, and Ice, her 16.5 hand high Thoroughbred. She rubbed each one of their faces before closing the barn door. She glanced at the dusty, old clock on the wall which read six ten. She had spent the entire day at the barn lunging the horses, brushing them, riding them, cleaning them and the tack, and cleaning the aisle of horse poop, hay, and dirt. Sam blew the bangs out of her face as she walked across the parking lot to her black, 2008 Jeep Commander. She opened the door and turned to look at her horses. "Bye!" She said in a high pitched, baby voice. All three of them nickered in response. Sam smiled and hopped into her Jeep and started it up. She pulled down the visor to see the sad shape of her hair. It honestly wasn't that bad and even if she decided to shower again, she was going into a mosh pit. You can't get too fancy. She put her Jeep into drive and headed for home. It was about a ten minute drive that was mostly dirt road than pavement. During the drive as she got closer and closer to home the more anxious she got. Worse case scenarios kept jumping in her head; "what if the pass is a fake and I can't get in? What if I get killed in a mosh pit and I can't see them? What if they decide I'm not important enough and just cancel the meeting? What if they think I'm the lamest, sorriest excuse for a fan ever? What if- oh shit!" "IT'S CALLED A BLINKER YOU ASSHOLE!" She yelled out the window at a car that cut in front of her. The guy replied with a middle finger. "Fucking asshole." She muttered as she pulled into the apartment parking lot.
On her way back up to her apartment she shot her brother a text: "Concert @ 8 meeting at 10:30, be thinking of you
The drive to the concert was even more nerve-racking than the drive from the barn. The closer she got to the stadium the harder she gripped the steering wheel. Her knuckles were white as a sheet. Her stomach was doing flip flops and at one point she thought she was gonna puke. After about twenty minutes she pulled into the stadium parking lot and got out. There wasn't as many people as she thought would be there but there was still a large crowd. She walked up and gave the ticket taker her ticket and flashed her VIP pass at him which was hanging around her neck. He nods at her and ushered her up to the barrier in the front row. She looked around; the stage had Motionless In White banners around it, Angelo's drums were already on the stage along with at least a dozen amps, and some dudes were on the stage working on the lights. Her heart pounded in her ears, damn she was an excited, anxious stress ball.
Sam looked around some more, the crowd was growing she noticed. To try and calm her nerves she started up some small talk with some fans around her. Before she knew it they were announcing that the show was about to start. The lights dimmed then all of a sudden Chris yelled offstage: "WHAT THE FUCK?!?" And all in one moment Immaculate Misconception started playing, the stage lights exploded on; red, blue, green, and purple, and Chris, Balz, Ricky, Ryan, Angelo, and Ghost ran out on stage and got into position. The crowd exploded with "I love you", "marry me", "woo", and just plain screams. It was the best concert she had ever been to. About half way through the show they played "The Divine Infection" and Sam was lost in the music. She was swaying back and forth and jumping up and down and singing along until all of a sudden the music stopped and Chris yelled "Oh you think you're so fucking cool don't ya mother fucker?!? You've been flipping us off the whole show! You got something to say to us? Stop being a little pussy and come up here so we can give these people a show like they payed for!" The crowd went nuts with boo's and yelling, everyone was scanning the crowd for the offender. "Yeah come up here fucker!" Chris yelled "The people here payed for a show! You think you can do fucking better I want to see it!"
Suddenly Sam was pushed into the barrier, clutching her head which was now throbbing she turned to see what happened. The offender wasn't such a pussy after all, he had made it all the way up to the barrier and was trying to climb on the stage. He had black hair down to his shoulders, snake bites, an Asking Alexandria shirt on, and Vans. "Well what do we have here?" Chris asked into the microphone "A little badass that thinks its okay to push girls into walls. What do you say that we push him around huh Creatures?" The crowd erupted into screams. People were yelling obscenities that included "fuck his face", "fuck him", and "kick his ass". The kid had both arms and a foot on the stage when Chris came up and stood on his hand, holding the guy there. The whole band came and crowded around the kid who was dangling from the stage by his hands. Chris then took and stomped as hard as he could on the other kids' hand. The kid screamed in pain this time, but anyone past the third row couldn't of heard over the sound of the crowd. Chris leaned over into the kids' face and yelled into the mic; "Not such a tough guy now are ya?" The kid looked up at Chris, paused, then spit in his face. Chris paused for a moment and wiped the spit of his face, the crowd went silent. Then all of a sudden Chris lifted one foot and sent it straight into the kids face. In the same moment the kid was rocketed back to the third row, Chris jumped off the stage and went full on brawl on the kid, and the crowd was trying to pull the two apart. Soon the security guys stepped in and pulled Chris back on the stage and the kid out of the audience. Ricky was patting Chris on the back while he grabbed a water bottle. Chris drank from it but then angrily whipped it off stage. Ricky whispered something to Chris and patted his back once more before returning to his position. Without saying another word they started playing "Infamous" and carrying on like nothing happened.
