My mother looked at me. "I'm not going," I protest. "You can't make me." I storm up to her fire in my eyes. "I can and I will," She fired back. "Besides it was free. The government paid for it and they really think they can change you." I cut her off "Don't you see!! I don't want to be changed! I like the way I am." She rolled her eyes "Tobi!" She slams her hand down on the counter "I'm done with you and your attitude! Tell that to the 6 fines you have, and the 4 nights in jail I had to pay for! I'm sick and tired of it." She looked at me and then looked back at her scrapbooking. My nostrils flare up, something they did a lot when I was angry. "Ever since Meredith was born you never pay any attention to me!" I grab the scissors and stab them into the cutting mat. "You want me to go then fine. I could care less, but don't expect anything else from me. I'm 17 now and when I leave that place I'm not coming back here." I storm off and slam my bedroom door. Grumpily lock my door, I pack a duffel bag of clothing and everything I'd need, mom sent a list of things I would need at camp and a list of things I couldn't take, I didn't want to start off on the wrong foot so I decided to follow them. I pack my bag for the camp and then I packed a smaller bag for the night and left out the window. I went to Eileen's house. She was my best friend, we've been friends since 4th grade. I sneak in through her window. I start telling her about how much I hated my mother and how she was sending me to this new school to clean up my act. To my surprise. She was too.
