“Callen?!” I whisper, tears filling my eyes. “Hey,” he smiles. I hug him and he gently snakes his arms back around my waist, hugging back. “I've missed you too,” he whispers into my neck. I blush, letting go and he sits next to me. We talked though the bus ride, and I find out that he did some research about this place, he figured out the truth about it. He wasn't upset when his parents sent him here, he was looking forward to unraveling its secrets. I smile, ‘He was always the Curious type,’ I speak in my head. “Look, we’re here,” I say, looking out the window. The bus stops and we get off. ‘Where is our luggage?’ I think to myself. “Probably over here. You know, where it says ‘luggage pick-up’?” He laughs. I giggle nervously, going to pick up my things. “Have you read the rules for this place?” Callen asks in disbelief. “No, why?” I counter, walking over to him. He clears his throat and reads the rules out loud;
“1: Do not intermingle with other houses unless told to do so by your Housemaster.
2: Don't follow orders from anyone other than the Housemaster, the camp leader, and your Teen Camp Directors.
3: No food in the cabins.
4: Lights out at 10pm
5: DO NOT go out after sundown.
If any of these rules are broken it will lead to being expelled from the camp and severe punishment.” He pauses, regaining his composure. “Do you know what this means?...” He whispers.
I swallow hard, “We can't talk anymore,” I choke out.
