I walked out to the door to my carport, putting my bags in the trunk of my mom's car. I sit in the passenger's seat, texting Tobi about some things that had happened and how I was bringing my car key. She asked why, as I would not be needing it. 'Well I don't want anyone else using my car' I text. She replies with a 'haha', and I put my phone away. My mom gets in the car and clicks her seatbelt into place. "Eileen..." she says. Still mad at her for sending me away, I don't respond. "It's for your own good.." She insists. "Just drive," I snap. She sighs, pulling out of the driveway and heading off to our camp director's house. When we get there, I get out without a word, grabbing my bags and putting them in the luggage compartment of the bus. "See you at the end of camp, love you," she says. "Love you too," I reply, going to wait and look for anyone I know. I see Tobi in the back avoiding eye contact with almost everyone, 'Same' I think to myself, walking over there. We chat for a bit when Kasey comes over, "You too huh?" I ask. She nods, running a hand through her hair. There was a loud "Ahem," and we all turn our attention to the front. "Alright everyone! Listen up! You all are here for one reason. You have been deemed dangerous by the government. Your parents think you're "troubled", so they sent you to a "Reform school" I'll be frank, this is NOT a Reform school, it's a training facility. We will teach you to focus and use your abilities to their full potential. You 50 will be the next soldiers of the US Military," the director says. "What a great speech," I joke. "Welcome to Shadow Falls." Tobi laughs and Kasey smiles. We make our way to the bus when I bump into someone, I stumble back, looking over to the person. "Sorry, you okay?" I asked. She stands, brushing the dirt off her shoulders. She smiles, "Yeah I'm okay. I'm Iris," she says. "Eileen," I respond. "Nice to meet you." She says. "Ok. Hold up. You're too nice, how are you a threat to the government?" Tobi asks. Iris scoffs, "Watch this," she says. "Hold out your hands," She instructs. Tobi does, but I don't. I just watch intently as a blue purple light, emits from Iris' hands. A small charm necklace is in Tobi's hands. "Whoa!" I gape in shock. "Cool," Tobi grins. Iris laughs, getting on the bus. Tobi smirks, and tries to bolt away as the bus is driving off, but some nearby police officers pull her into the cruiser and drive her to the camp; via police escort. Due to assigned seats, I was unable to sit next to Kasey. I jump when a pair of arms wrap around my waist, picking me up I scream slightly. Whipping around to face this person, the face I see shocks me...
