"Reform School?!" I exclaim in shock and confusion. My mom nods, still Cutting Up the strawberries for her smoothie. "You've Got to be kidding me, do you know how expensive that is?! There's no way you would spend so much money on some school just to fix my attitude!" I protest. "Actually, it's free. The government paid for it, Shadow Falls, they said the name was," she slips a strawberry into her mouth. "You like creepy things, it sounds pretty creepy, and it was free. All expenses paid." She put down the knife and and puts the rest of the fruit into the blender. "Great, now there's no getting out of this," I mutter to myself. "See? Attitude. This will be good for you," My mom says I growl and go lock myself in my room. The phone rings. Not my cell phone, but the house phone. I mute the call, putting in my earbuds and playing 'Cold as Ice' by Blacklite District. I couldn't believe that my life had come to this; my own parents, shipping me off to some school for the troubled kids, I'm not troubled, am I? That troubles me...
