Starfire POV
When I woke up, all of the titans were around me. Robin was the closest, and he was right beside me. My hand was in his, and once again, my head was pounding. It took me a while to remember. Then, it all came back. I remembered the injection, and passing out. Raven gave me a pill, which I unwillingly swallowed. Almost immediately, my headache was gone. Then all of the pain was gone. I sat up, and Robin put his arms around me. I smiled and stood up. I felt a little dizzy, but I didn’t say anything, for fear of Robin. Robin asked me to go to his room, and I agreed without hesitation. I sat down on his bed, and waited for him. When he walked in, he was smiling. “Starfire, I’m thinking of taking all of the titans on a vacation,” he said with a smile. All of the sudden, I became excited. “Really? Where?” I asked with a gigantic smile on my face. “Well, there is this abandoned island that I love to go to. It’s completely surrounded by water, and there is a lot to do,” he said. “Ok, I think that it’s a wonderful idea,” I said approvingly.
Cyborg POV
Robin walked out of his room with Starfire behind him. They never were separated. I was getting used to that fact. Even at night, she began to sleep in his room constantly. On a few occasions, he would sleep in hers. Anyway, so they walked into the living room, and faced Beastboy, Raven, and I who were sitting around the TV. We were playing a game called Death Trap, and I was focused on Level 13. “Friends! Robin has an idea!” Starfire exclaimed. It had been a while since she had used that voice. It was very innocent. It had reminded me of the time when I had kissed her… But my lesson was learned. Then my mind began to wander to Carry. I didn’t really need her, but she was beautiful. Then, my mind went to Starfire. She was innocent, warmhearted, and beautiful. All of the sudden, I wanted to kiss her again. If Robin hadn’t been there, I would have. What was happening to me?? I wasn’t aware that I was staring at Starfire, until Robin gave me a disapproving glance. I immediately looked away. I couldn’t make my renewed feeling known. Anyway, Starfire told us about Robin’s vacation idea. She could’ve been speaking in a different language for all I cared. I knew that my thoughts would only bring future problems, but I didn’t care.
Robin POV
I saw the way that Cyborg was staring at Starfire. It made me want to kick the shit out of him. His smirk was like a dagger into me. I knew what he was probably thinking. Nobody looks at Starfire like that, unless they’re daydreaming. We’ve already been through this. So help me god, if he were to kiss her again, I’d lose it. We would be losing a team member. And I honestly wouldn’t care. Starfire seemed oblivious to his staring. She was just explaining my idea with a triumphant smile. I knew that she was happy, and didn’t want to ruin the moment by telling her what I was seeing. If only I was in a room alone with him. *Evil smile* It would be pretty interesting. Raven must have noticed my death glare towards Cyborg, and his staring at Starfire, because she nudged him. Immediately he looked away. It was smart of him. If he wouldn’t have looked away when he did, I probably would have jumped across the room. The coffee table was the only thing that would’ve stopped me. After Starfire explained my idea and everybody agreed, I ran on the balcony. I started hitting the solid outside walls of the T tower. Starfire must have been concerned, because she ran after me. Blood was dripping from my knuckles. “Robin!” She exclaimed as she ran to my side. With her strength, she restrained me from hitting the wall again. “I’m sorry,” I quickly apologized. Her arms dropped.
Starfire POV
I was worried about Robin. He ran onto the balcony and began hitting the wall. I ran after him. I saw that his knuckles were bleeding. I shrieked his name, but he paid no attention. I knew that I needed to stop him before he hurt himself. I ran over and grabbed his arms. I threw myself between him and the wall. “I’m sorry,” he quickly said. “Why were you hitting the wall?” I asked, as I dropped my arms. He took a deep breath. “It was Cyborg. The way that he was staring at you. It made me want to beat the shit out of him,” he explained. I had never heard my Robin cuss. I knew that he must have been angry. I pulled myself closer to him and kissed him. We were kissing for a while, and I wasn’t prepared to pull away. When it sadly ended, he wrapped his arms around me. “Robin, it doesn’t matter if he was staring at me or not. I’ll only love you for the rest of my life. I’m a little hurt that you would think otherwise. I love you, Robin,” I told him. “I’m sorry Star, I never meant to hurt you,” he muttered against my shoulder. “You are forgiven,” I told him. “Want to go back to my bed?” He asked. “How about mine?” I replied. He nodded and we started to my bedroom. We lay tangled up on my bed for a long time. “Starfire, the reason why I was so angry at Cyborg was because I knew what his intentions were. I wanted to protect you,” he explained. “Robin, I am capable of protecting myself,” I told him with a smile. “I’m learning that,” he said with a chuckle.
Raven POV
Starfire and I exchanged worried glances. Robin had just ran up to the balcony. I knew that he was hitting something by the pounding sound that rang through my ears. Starfire ran after him. After a minute, the pounding stopped. I went into my room to read. After a while, I fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night, screaming. Beastboy was immediately beside me. “Rae, are you okay?” He asked in a worried voice. I nodded, and fell back against my pillows. “Stay with me?” I asked him. He agreed, and got under the covers with me. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I didn’t want this to end. He put his arms around me, and I smiled. I wished that this could happen every day.
