Robin POV
When Cyborg parked the car in front of a small opening, I held my breath. I was glad that I was finally about to see the love of my life, but I was scared at what I was going to see. I hoped that she wasn’t in danger. When at last, we jumped into the opening, Raven and Starfire, were freaking out. “Raven? What are you hugging?” I heard Beastboy ask. “What?” I heard in reply. “Starfire?” I called. “Robin, what, where are you?” she stammered. I was confused. Then she ran over and threw her arms around me. “Thank god that you’re okay,” she said with a smile. She pressed her face against my shoulder. “Yes, of course I’m ok. Are you alright, Star?” I asked. She shook her head. “I don’t understand how Raven and I got here. There is a man that tried to touch Raven. She broke out of her chains and stuff. I’m scared and he brought out something that looked a lot like you and now he’s gone.. I’m scared Robin,” she quickly told me. Her body was shaking. “Star, calm down. I’m not gonna let anything happen to you,” I said. She nodded, but I could tell that she was still panicked. Beastboy was probably gonna lose his mind when Raven told him about the man. All of the sudden I felt a tap on my shoulder. Then, a black shadow engulfed me and Starfire. We were holding hands when we were attacked. Rage and fear controlled my body. I struggled against the dark forces that held me captive. Actually, I was trying to help Starfire more than me, but I was still trying. Whoever the man was, he had almost the same exact powers as Raven. I couldn’t see Beastboy, Raven, or Cyborg, but I knew that they probably were thinking the same thing. I wasn’t aware of anything else that was happening. “Robin, you must stop fighting,” Starfire told me. “It only makes his darkness stronger,” Then, I realized what she meant. With every punch and kick that I blindly threw, the darkness got darker. I didn’t know how it was possible. So then, I gave in and took a deep breath. My fists were tight, and Starfire’s were too. “I have an idea,” she said at last. She tried to use a starbolt attack. It made no dent in the shield of black. We were trapped.
Beastboy POV
I changed into every animal possible. It had no effect on the bubble that Raven and I were enclosed in. I had no idea where Cyborg, Robin, or Starfire were. All Raven and I could see was a black shield that held us captive. We tried to fight it, but it did us no good. So we just gave up, and stopped fighting. “Beastboy,” Raven began. “What?” I asked her sweetly. She attempted to smile but it game as a grimace. “Raven, what’s wrong?” I asked her. “Look, let’s just say that our attacker has a thing for me,” she said. Her fists were clenched. Then, I felt the rage. “Tell me how you know this please,” I said in a voice that brought out my rage. “Please calm down, your face makes me not want to tell you,” she said. I took a few deep breaths. After she told me, I had to work to contain myself. I was about to kill him. Of course, the dark shield restrained me, but I probably would have gotten past it.. If it wasn’t for Raven being next to me, I would have gone bezerk. A few minutes later, I thought of something. It was an idea to break the shield. “Raven, vision us breaking out of the shield,” I told her. She nodded and closed her eyes. The shield burst open. We tumbled onto the floor, and ran to go find Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg. “I’ll go find Robin and Starfire,” I said as I hugged her. She nodded and ran the other direction to find Cyborg. I turned into a cheetah and ran full speed until I crashed into another black shield. “Robin! Starfire!” I called. “Beastboy?” Starfire said. “Look guys, picture yourselves breaking out of the shield!” I shouted. I backed up, just as the shield exploded into tiny dark fragments. Then we ran to Raven and Cyborg’s aid. It took a long time before we found them. The man came up behind us. “Good work,” he sneered. “Titans go!” Robin yelled. We already knew what that meant. Raven said her three magic words, I turned into a lion, Robin took out his bow staff, Starfire got her starbolts ready, and Cyborg tensed up. We were ready to fight. My razor sharp claws dug at the man. The gashes soon turned back into skin. We were used to this. We just had to tie him up somehow so that the authorities could arrest him. Robin lunged at him and pulled out rope. He attempted to tie up the man, while Cyborg,
Starfire, Raven, and I tried our best to hold him down. We finally got him tied up, and put him in the backseat of the T car. Robin and I drove him to the local prison to turn him in, while Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire stayed back at the area to investigate. “Bye Robin,” Starfire said as Robin climbed into the car. He gave her a kiss, told her bye, and then we were on our way. Raven was already focusing on the investigation. I didn’t want to bother her.
Cyborg POV
Starfire, Raven, and I worked hard to learn more about the place where the girls were kidnapped. I found it distracting to be so close to Starfire without Robin. It took a lot of me to pay attention to research. We were coming up empty, so we decided to take a break to clear our minds. Raven pulled out a book, Starfire called Robin, and I was left alone. It has been like that a lot lately. I was starting to wonder what I was still doing here. Maybe the titans didn’t really need me. The thought kept replaying through my head, and I actually considered leaving the titans forever. There was probably gonna be a few members who rejected the idea, like Beastboy. As much as he didn’t care, I knew that he was always there for me, and that he was my best friend. Starfire would probably reject too. I didn’t know about the rest. Possibly Raven. Robin would probably be glad to see me leave. I made him so mad when I was near Starfire. I wished that he would just calm down. He didn’t understand how hard it was for me to be in love with somebody that I knew I couldn’t have. Well, maybe he did, before he was dating Starfire. Robin and I just needed to understand each other better sometimes. Maybe later, we could work on it. Well if I stayed with the titans. I was still indecisive.
Raven POV
We didn’t learn anything about the building, besides that it was a wine cellar before it became abandoned. We didn’t even know who the previous owners were. We took a break, and I pulled out the novel that I was working on. It was supposed to be scary, but I found nothing scary about a few homicides. I could hear Starfire talking to Robin on the phone. It was kind of irritating, the way that they were all over each other. It was kind of disgusting. Beastboy and I loved each other the same, and would be there for each other in a heartbeat, but we didn’t show it as much. I was perfectly okay with that. I honestly couldn’t stand when Robin and Starfire got all mushy. I didn’t understand how ROBIN could stand to do that all the time. He was the one who was always scared to admit his feelings. Now, all of the sudden, he’s acting like what he couldn’t stand to be. He completely changed, and I lost all feelings for him. Beastboy changed a little bit, but he still tried comedy, and loved tofu, and spent time by himself. I loved that about him. He enjoyed independence. I couldn’t say the same for Robin. He was completely wrapped around the finger of Starfire. She had complete control over him. Once again, it’s kinda disgusting. Of course I could say that Beastboy was wrapped around my finger, though he didn’t understand that sometimes. I’m pretty sure that he didn’t want to have control over me. When Beastboy and Robin came back they were extremely excited. “We can go back to the T tower.
It wasn’t Slade. It was him the entire time,” Beastboy said. I was relieved. As much as France was pretty, I missed the T tower. My bookshelf, especially. Cyborg located the T ship and brought it back to Starfire and I to take back. We had to take separate vehicles so that both could get back safely. Starfire drove home, and I fell asleep.
Starfire POV
I drove the T ship back home. Raven deserved to sleep. She must be exhausted. I was thankful that she helped Robin and I escape. I was also thankful for Beastboy but he wasn’t with us. As we got closer to the T tower, I felt much happier. All the guilt that I held for kissing the boy was gone. I was sure that Robin felt the same way. A few minutes later, we arrived at the T tower. The sight of the huge tower that was nested in the outskirts of the city, gave me chills. I was finally back. I walked inside and sighed in relief. “We’re back,” Robin mumbled. I could tell that he was relieved too. After we unpacked, the T tower was back to normal. Raven was reading, Cyborg and Beastboy were playing a video game, and Robin and I were watching them. Everything was normal. I was happy.
