Robin POV
That night, Starfire slept in my room with me. I realized how close our bond was and realized that we were just missing one thing to tie us forever. I smiled at the thought. After she was asleep, I walked out of my room and went to find the other guys to tell them. “Beastboy, Cyborg,” I whispered. Then I saw the light in the living room. They were probably up late playing a video game. Raven was probably there too, so I could kill two birds with one stone. Sure enough, they were on the sofa with controllers in their hands, playing a vicious war game. “I need to ask your opinions on something,” I told them. “What is it, Robin?” Raven asked. “Well, I’m thinking about proposing to Starfire, and um I wanted to know if you guys think that I should,” I said slowly. They all looked around and smiled. “Yes!” they all exclaimed at once. “Ok, then, I will, but I don’t know how,” I mumbled. I needed to find a clever way to do it. Just the very thought of having Starfire for the rest of my life, was enough to make me smile for days on end. As days passed, my happiness grew even more. I decided that I was going to propose to her in October, because of the color of the leaves. She always loved fall, because of that. So I waited a few months, and finally the day came. In my advantage, crime level amazingly decreased in Jump City, so they were a peaceful few months. When the day came, I asked her to go for a walk with me, one evening. I perfectly arranged it so that I would ask her at sunset. Just to add to the scene. We walked around for a bit, and I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. Then the time came. “Starfire, I would like to ask you something important,” I said. “Yes, Robin?” she asked with a smile. I got down on my knee, and found the courage to ask, as I pulled out the little white box. “Starfire, will you marry me?” I asked. It didn’t even take her a second to answer. “Yes, Robin,” she said with a huge smile. I quickly got up from my knee, and put the ring on her finger. Then, I held her close. “I love you, Star,” I said proudly. “Robin, I love you too,” she told me. We walked back to the T tower, and I was as happy as ever. When we walked into the T tower, Beastboy, Cyborg, and Raven were watching a movie on the sofa. “Starfire and I are getting married!” I excitedly shouted. Everybody started cheering and congratulated us. “Can I plan your wedding?” Raven asked with a devious smile. Star and I nodded. Beastboy would probably be helping her. That night, Starfire slept in my room again.
Raven POV
I was super happy for Robin and Starfire. I mean, they were getting married. I always knew that they were closer than most couples. To see them engaged brought happiness to my heart. I really wanted to plan their wedding, because I knew what both of them liked, and I would love to. I was always good with coordination, and designing. Anyway, I went to work immediately. I decided that they should have their wedding somewhere scenic, with a view.. Then I had a really cool idea. Their wedding should be on top of a skyscraper. Both of them would like that. I did some careful planning and decided where their wedding should be. They were going to have their wedding in New York City. After months of planning, their wedding plans were almost finished. Starfire and I even found her wedding dress. I was her maid of honor, and her bridesmaids were Bumblebee, Jinx, and an old friend from her planet. I had to review everything about a wedding to her, because she was new to it. It didn’t help that her wedding traditions were completely different on her planet. When finally, she understood everything, the day was about to arrive. It was about two weeks from the wedding, and I was deeply meditating. Then, I was sucked into Nevermore. All of my alternate personalities were waiting for me. Jealousy approached me. Oh god, not again. “You are jealous Raven,” it said to me. “About what?” I timidly asked. “The wedding. You wish that you and Beastboy could have the same,” Jealousy said. I nodded. “Kind of,” I admitted. After my visit to Nevermore, I began to feel the jealousy. Of course I wasn’t gonna like crash their wedding or anything, but I wished that me and Beastboy could be engaged too. I didn’t want to say anything, for fear of Beastboy’s reaction. So I just kept silent.
