Scotty's POV:
It's almost show time, and I still haven't seen Parker yet. I'm kind of getting worried, she's never late. "You ready Scott?" Dylan asked placing a hand on my shoulder. "Yeah.. Have you seen Parker?" I asked still looking around.
"She's finishing up getting ready. Relax, she'll be here." He smiled as I nodded. I watched him walk away and sighed. I think I really hurt her this time, and I don't know how to fix it. Especially without ruining my plan to tell her.
"You're on in two minutes Scott." Mike shouted and I turned to see him walking with Parker right beside him. I felt myself relax and nodded. "Alright, thanks Mike."
Parker's POV:
"Hey Parker! Wait up!" Scotty begged as I passed him with Mike. There is no way I am going to face him right now. I made my way to the equipment area and grabbed my guitar. I glanced over in his direction one last time and saw him hanging his head in defeat.
"Parker come on." Joey ordered as I followed him and the rest of Dry County to the stage. The crowd was sold out again tonight, and they certainly never let us down. I took my position on the stage as the intro began playing and girls began screaming. Shortly after, Scotty appeared and lit up the whole place with his performance. We played a few songs, and then went through the band intros again.
"And last but certainly not least, we have the Queen on the guitar." He smiled as I ignored him and began playing my part. We continued on with the show, and before I knew it, it was the end. "Thank y'all for coming! Have a good night!" Scotty shouted giving a wave and exiting the stage with us following.
Scotty's POV:
"Great show tonight guys." Parker smiled at the boys and then looked at me and stopped. She has been avoiding me ever since she told me, and it's killing me on the inside. "Dinner at Bo's?" Joey asked looking around. A few of the guys nodded and Parker shook her head. "You guys go ahead. I have to study for some finals." She smiled.I watched her give the rest of the boys a hug, and head back to the bus.
"What's going on Scotty?" Dylan asked immediately as the others nodded my way. "It's... It's complicated." I sighed looking at the ground. "Well whatever you did, fix it." Joey demanded crossing his arms, "she's not the same, and it's killing our show's vibe!" I nodded and turned towards the bus. "I'll go talk to her. Bring us something back from Bo's."
