(Ariels Pov)
I sat on the hood of an abandon car, my dog hunter sitting next to me. It's parked in the middle of the street. I had spaced out staring off into the sunset. Time had past and I doze off resting my head on the windshield. About an hour or two passed by when I woken up by the sound of groans. I quickly jumped off the car and pulled out my baseball bat covered in barbed wire. I looked around and found a man laying with his face on the ground.
"Um.. H-hello sir a-are you okay..?"
I asked cautiously walking towards the man, Hunter besides me. There was no response. I kept walking closer. I poked him with my bat. He groaned again.
"S-Sir?" I call out. Still no reply.
I had noticed there was a pool of blood surrounding his stomach area. I started stepping away realizing he could have turned. (Turned Zombie)
The man slowly lifted his head. Black eyes, jaw broken and bleeding everywhere. Hunter started barking sounding like an alarm.
*Yep hes gone* I say in my head and whip my baseball bat into his skull.
"let's go, Hunter" I say as we begin walking down the road. We need to find food and water. I haven't ate in 3 days and we barely have any water left.
