I heard my mom call from downstairs

"BREAKFAST IS READY"

I groaned getting out of bed I was so tired that day I had a hard time sleeping last night due to me having some very horrifying nightmares. As I got up I felt goose bumps all over me, It was so cold in my room I at least slept with over 4 blankets to keep me warm but ended up not working one bit.
I walked to my closet picking out a sky blue long sleeve shirt and some jeans to complete my outfit, I wasn't really the type of girl to go full out with the dressing unlike my best friend Veronica who wore many different outfits almost everyday unlike me I just wear a pair of Converse with a casual shirt and jeans as I did everyday.
I sat down facing the dresser mirror and started applying light makeup, I had mumbled the lyrics to my favorite song Now or Never by Halsey

"Baby gonna love me now, now, now,now, now, now, now or Never"

I applied my light pink lipstick to my lips and put my hair up in a high ponytail as always
As I finished I packed all my stuff and my books into my bag and headed downstairs

"Oh look, sleeping beauty has finally wakened"
my mom teased while eyeing me
"Leave her alone Alice, she's a young girl she needs her sleep" my dad said while reading the newspaper
I rolled my eyes being annoyed by my parents, they'd always have to say something each morning judging how I sleep too much.
I picked up my fork stabbing my waffle my mom drowned the waffle with syrup causing it to become soggy, at that point I wasn't as hungry instead I grabbed a apple and took a bite out of it.

Before my mom could ramble about wasting my food I grabbed my bag and car keys and headed out
"Elizabeth Coo-" I heard my mom say as I slammed the door behind me
"Good morning to you too" I mumbled
I walked to my car as I got in I realized WHAT A IDOT I WAS I had to tour a transfer student around today
I looked at the time and remembered the principal specially say

"Be here by 7:20 to show our new transfer student around campus, I trust you Betty don't fail me you are the best student out of this whole campus"

I looked at the time and it had said 7:10 I sighed in relief thinking that I'd get detention or even scolded from my absences but turns out I get a pass today.
I started my car and drove to school, parking in the parking lot I realized I was really early. With the bit of extra time I started to practice of what to say and were to start.
I said to myself "here we go Betty, don't fail your principal now.." I sighed getting out of the car
I walked towards the double doors and opened them as I was Ana from Frozen finally getting to see the gates open for the first time in forever......wait no Betty stop this madness now.
I headed towards the office and sat down in chair in front of the front office, as I waited for the new transfer student or even the principal remembering about the restless nights I've had I decided to take a quick little nap shutting my eyes.

The office door slammed right open causing me to become shook and much more aware of my surroundings
I saw a tall skinny boy with brown curly hair and headphones in wearing a flannel shirt and some jeans with a coat on top of his flannel trying not to be creepy I'd have a small glances here and there to get a load of his features. The brown haired boy looked around curiously and managed to make eye contact with me. I woke up from my trans and quickly stood up and walking up to face him
"Are you the new transfer student?" I asked while he gazed at me
He nodded mumbling "yeah"
I nodded in response with a small smile plastered on my lips
I felt a arm wrap around my shoulder causing me to tense up from this new act of contact, looking to my left there was a guy who looked oddly familiar
"Hey" he smirked down at me his voice sounding familiar I realized it was...

"LANDON!"
