Chapter 4/ What?

sorry I haven't been working on my story oof I've been dead inside for a while....

"LANDON YOU POP SICLE STICK GET YOUR ASS OFF OF ME!" I blurted out loud

Landon literally sat on me, you know I was very much enjoying myself the couch all to myself but nope some peace of sheet had to sit on my stomach while I was laying down on the couch

"No" Landon pouted as he crossed his arms

Since Landon refused to get off of me, I instead pushed him off of me

"What the hell?!" Landon said while getting up from the ground

"What? It wasn't my fault you refused to get off of me"

"Whatever" Landon said rolling his eyes

"What are you even doing down here?" I asked curiously

"Well mom insisted I'd get off my butt and get some dinner for us since mom and dad aren't gonna be home till 10pm, but......"

"But what Landon?" I swear I hate it so much when people do this, especially my brother he can be a real noob at times I sometimes really really want to slap him so bad but Peter was here so I guess I can't.

"I have no money" Landon smiled

"What do you mean you have no money? Mom literally paid you yesterday!"

"Yeah I know....but....I may have lost to this kid which of course I lost too and kinda betted my $50 dollars.."

At this moment Betty realized how pissed she was..and may have slapped her Brother right across the face?

Peters POV

I was jaw dropped not due to Betty being very beautiful, but the fact that she slapped Landon right across the face

"OW WHAT THE HELL BETTY!" Landon yelled

"LANDON THIS IS WHY MOM DOESN'T PAY YOU!" Betty yelled back

There was something about the Cooper siblings at one point they were all cool and stuff and now they're rambling about how they both made a mistake

I just stood there like the awkward kid who had no friends....oh wait

"Guys" I said softly but of course they didn't hear me through their arguing

"Mhmm GUYS!" I said a lot more louder

"WHAT!" They both yelled and turned and looked at me at the same time

"Hi" hi? Peter why are you so stupid?

"You know this argument isn't getting us anywhere...let's just go out and eat somewhere" Betty insisted

Landon and I both agreed

(At POPS diner)

It was 5:43pm by the time we got to pops, it was honestly a very nice and old classic diner something that we never had back in New York

We all sat down in a booth me and Landon sitting on one side Betty on the other

"So what do you usually order Landon?"

"I usually order the classic burger" Landon replied while looking through the menu

I looked over at Betty who was staring out the window something about her, I felt comfortable around her even though I knew her only for a day and really didn't talk much to her I just kinda felt safe around her

"How may I help you 3 today?" A older man came up to us who had darker skin

"Hey pops!" Landon said

"Landon when did you get back? How was it up in New York?" Pops replied

"I just got back today and it was the best experience I ever had, oh this is my friend Peter he went to school with me till he moved here to Riverdale from NYC" Landon explained

"Nice to meet you Peter, you'll enjoy it here I promise" pops gave a little smile he seemed like a nice person who you could trust even if he was a stranger

"I'll have my usual drink a strawberry milkshake and your famous burger" Betty said

"I'll have your classic burger with a Vanilla shake" Landon said and then looked at me

"What about you pancakes?" Pancakes? Since when did Landon start calling me pancakes? It was better then penis parker that's for sure

"I'll also have a classic burger but with a chocolate shake?"

"Sure thing, coming right up" pop said and left and headed to the back where the cooks were

"So Parker tell me about yourself" Betty asked

I looked right into her beautiful blue-green iced eyes at that moment I felt as if me and her were the only ones in the diner with no disruption I felt as if I was going deeper and deeper into a dark hole that was ever lasting and I couldn't stop falling

What was this feeling? Was it sadness? Was I slowly falling for a girl who I didn't know much about? Did I find something that was precious that I wouldn't let go of ever? WAIT DID I HAVE A CRUSH ON MY BEST FRIENDS SISTER?!

"Earth to Parker" I heard faintly

I snapped out of my trance coming back to reality and realizing I've been staring at Betty for the past 5 minuets

"W-what?" I replied

"Parker you've been dead for at least 5 minuets, did you zone out cause you saw a hot girl today?" Landon asked

"N-no What?" I blushed a little
Landon chuckled because I blushed at the part were he said "hot girl"

"I-I was just thinking that's all" I said in a soft tone

How could I be so stupid? Just think I literally stared at Betty for a good 5 minutes she probably thinks I'm a creep now.

Our food arrived and I must say Pops diner is a 11/10 like HOLY CRAP HOW DOES ONE COOK A GOOD BURGER AND A MILKSHAKE!? Wait can you even cook a milkshake? Oh well

As the 3 of us ate I talked about my life and how I enjoyed New York and miss it very much and how it felt good to start a new life in a small town weather then in a big city

I realized I had a lot in common with Betty which was cool. Once we finished eating we headed back to the coopers and went to bed this day went pretty well despite the fact that I stared at Betty but overall yeah it was pretty good

Finished this chapter this was a bit longer than the others I've made so far :)
