After, I went home with Steve and mom. The two were engaged in deep conversation but I didn't hear as I was lost in my own thoughts.

I didn't get to finish my interrogation with the three stooges as Steve pulled me away. He always has wrong timing.

With an open box of chocolates by my side, I bite into a truffle as I lay back on my bed. By the taste of truffle, I can distinguish it as a lemon truffle. I was hoping for raspberry but lemon will do.

The satin duvet lays beneath me, it feels smooth beneath my bare feet and legs. There's nothing better than being in my soft pajama shorts and long sleeve at the moment.

I stare at the white ceiling as I chew on the truffle in my mouth. All I could think about was Chuck, Logan, and Nate's incredulous plan to expose the person who tried to sabotage my life. I still have my fears but I want to know who this girl is and why she chose to taunt me, toy with me like I was hers.

"Sweetie." I hear mom's angelic voice. I avert my gaze from the ceiling and look at her as she stands in my doorway. "Are you okay?" She asks

"Yeah, just thinking." I respond as I take another truffle from the box.

"Well, Steve and I are going out. We'll be back in a while." She says with a small smile.

I just nod in response and divert my attention back to the ceiling.

"Lena." Mom says. I switch my attention back to her. "Was it immature of me to tell Fiona her breast were hanging low?" She asks.

"No. It's not like you lied." I respond and she chuckles "She said some brutal stuff too, mom. Besides, next time you see her, she would most likely have gotten a boob job." I add

She smiles as do I "We won't be long." She says "Love you."

"Love you too." I respond, giving her a smile before she goes. I know she's gone once her figure has disappeared from my peripheral vision.

Raspberry. I smile in delight as the raspberry truffle melts in my mouth. I shut my eyes as I enjoy the taste of the rich and smooth chocolate.

My joy is interrupted when I hear a sound, a small sound of what sounds like two glasses clinking. I sit up on my bed when I hear it again, the sound seems to be exhibiting from my room. Now, it sounds more of a tap.

Tap

I hear it again, I jump out of bed when I think I found where it's originating from. The window.

Tap

I pull open the curtains just in time to see a pebble collide with the glass, it slightly startles me. When did it start raining pebbles?

I unlock the window seal and push open both sides where a pebble flies right in, hitting my forehead.

I groan in pain as I put my hand over my head, luckily no blood but it hurts like hell. Rubbing my forehead, I carefully poke my head out to the side to see a tall figure standing outside.

The lamp from outside shines bright enough for me to recognize the person as Logan. "What the hell?" I growl as I throw my hands up in the air.

"It's about time." He huffs, letting multiple pebbles fall from his hand.

"What are you doing? Ever heard of a front door?" I ask him, my head still hurts meaning my temper is still off the charts.

"I was trying to be romantic like in one of those romance films you watch." He says as he throws his hands up in the air, a sigh escapes his lips.
