Your Pov

"Good morning (Y/N), how was your day?" As I walk inside the office of the detective agency, a certain brunette greeted me with that usual annoying grin on his face.

I didn't answer him, instead I brush him aside and proceed on walking towards my desk. It's still early in the morning so it's only me, Dazai-san, Kenji-kun, and Kunikida-san.

Dazai-san followed me in my desk and sit in the chair in front of me. I still ignored him and just start my work. However, he's really persistent this time to get my attention by consistently poking my cheeks and messing with the pile of papers on my desk.

When I had enough of his childishness, I slammed my fist on my desk and gave him a death glare.

"Are you really trying to test my patience Dazai-san? Cause if you do, you're doing a great job since I'm already losing it." I quietly said, with a menacing glint in my eyes.

I saw him sweat dropped  and he chuckled nervously. He raised his both hands as if telling me that he already surrendered.

"Easy (Y/N)-chan I'm not here to pick a fight okay, I'm here to ask you a favor." My eyebrow raised on what he just said.

Favor? I wonder what kind of favor it is?

"What kind of favor?" I asked him in a monotone voice.

"Well you see, I was wondering if you can accompany Atsushi-kun to scout a certain area. I have a mission so I can't go with him neither did Kunikida-kun so please go with him." I don't know what's gotten into me, but I can feel my face heat up at the mention of his name.

I lowered my head to hide the blush in my face but it looks like Dazai-san already saw it, that's why the grin on his face spread even wider.

"Oh? Is something wrong (Y/N)-chan? Your face is really red right now, hmm i wonder?" Aarrrgghhh he's teasing me. Well of course he will after all, Dazai-san knew about my little crush on his subordinate. I guess that's the reason why I am the one he asked about the favor.

"Tsk it's nothing, and I'm sorry but I can't agree on your request since I still had a lot---." A knock on the door interrupted my speech and when I turned my attention towards it, a certain young man with silvery white hair appeared.

"Ugh go--goodmorning everyone." The boy said in a shy tone.

"Oh? Good morning Atsushi-kun, I'm glad your already here. (Y/N) and I are discussing about your mission for today with her." Dazai-san said, tsk I can clearly hear the playful intent in his voice.

"Mission? With her?"

"Yes, you and (Y/N) are assigned to scout a certain place. It's just an easy mission so I expected it to be done."

Atsushi's face turned red because of some unknown reason, while I just nodded since I really don't have any choice right now.

"When are we going to leave?" I asked, my face is calm and almost emotionless.

"Well it's up to you, you can leave right now if you want." The annoying brunette respond while heading towards his own desk.

I heave a deep sigh as I glance at Atsushi who is currently staring at me too. When he noticed that I'm looking at him, he quickly averted his eyes.

"Alright, I think it's better to start right now so we can finish it quickly, after all we're just going to investigate a place." I announced.

He just nodded as a response. I make my way towards the door while he follow behind me.

*Time Skip*

Atsushi and I are currently resting on a bench in a nearby park. We already finished our mission and luckily we gathered some useful information. I tilted my head upward and look at the sky.

It's so peaceful...

"Uhm (Y/N)-san, are you alright?" I heard Atsushi asked me. I glanced at him and gave him a small smile.

"Yes I'm fine."

"You really are amazing (Y/N)-san, you gathered many useful information today. You really are one of the most precious detective in the agency. I wish I can be like you." I was kinda surprised on what he said.

He really thinks that he is useless? Haaa... This guy, after saving the city from the Guild he still think that he is not important. What an unbelievable guy.

I turned around to face him and hold onto his shoulder. I can feel that he is surprised at my sudden action but I don't care.

"Atsushi! You know what? I'm not the precious one here... you are." After I said those things, I closed the distance between our faces and place my lips on his.

I grip onto him tightly as I deepen the kiss. A few moments had passed when I decided to break it. I catch my breath for a second, while Atsushi looks like he's going to collapse.

Hahahaha this guy really don't fail to amuse me. He's such a cutie, maybe that's the reason why I fell for him.

I grabbed his hands and intertwined our fingers. "Let's head back now, shall we?"

He nodded as a response and give me one of his adorable smile.

Nakajima Atsushi, you really are the precious one...
