Your Pov

"Run (Y/N)! Get away from here." My mother told me as she tried to push me away.

Just a few hours ago we were still happily eating dinner together, that's when a hideous monster suddenly showed up and tried to kill everyone. It has a pair of sharp claws and a terrifying set of canine teeth. He killed all of our guards and servants, and now it's trying to chase us.

My father led us to a secret tunnel out of the mansion and we ended up in the middle of the forest behind our house. The place is dark and I can't clearly see anything, I have a feeling that I might trip onto something. And it looks like my prediction really did came true. Since it's all black, I didn't notice that there's a rock in front of me and I trip on it. A loud thud echoed through the forest and after that we heard a sounds of a footstep nearing our location.

"N-no mother. I can't just leave the two of you and run away on my own." I refused, trying to make my voice as steady as possible.

"You must! If you don't run, we were all going to die here. So if you ran, you can at least survive." Mother said again, I looked at her and tried to make out her face in the dark.

After a few minutes, my eyes starting to adjust and I can finally see. With her disheveled hair, down to her sweaty and haggard face I can see that she's so tired.

"Mother." I whispered, she just smiled at me gently and said. "Let your Father and I protect you until the end. After all, that's our job as your parents."

Fat drop of tears are slowly cascading down my face as I tried to control myself not to scream in frustrations. I heave a deep sigh and steeled both my heart and mind. Little by little, I force myself to stand up and ran. I heard my mother shouted, telling me not to look back and just continue to run away.

Not long after I heard a scream, it was my mother's voice. I stopped running and was about to go back when my legs suddenly gave out. I stumbled forward and collapsed on the hard ground. I can't move my body and my mind was starting to black out.

I heard a low growl and a footsteps nearing my location, I tried my hardest to look who is it but to my fear, it was a demon. My body began to tremble, and my breath are starting to get ragged. The demon slowly approached me with a killing intent visible on it's face.

Maybe this is the end for me. Mother, Father I'm sorry.

With a loud roar the creature swiftly charged towards me, but  before it manage to reach me, it was suddenly sliced into two.

Blood splattered everywhere and a scream echoed throughout the forest. Before I finally lose consciousness, an image of a wild boar clouded my vision and then everything went black.

*Time Skip*

'Be strong and live'

"Hmm..."

Arrgh... my head hurts, what happened to me?

Slowly I started to open my eyes but immediately shut it back,  because of the sudden dizziness that washed over me. After a few minutes, I tried again.

Wooden ceiling approach my vision, an open window on my left and a small table beside the bed that I'm currently laying in. Where am I? The last time I remember was... a BOAR!

That's right! I was supposedly in the forest waiting to get killed by that vicious demon, but then in an instant, a boar came and killed it.

Then... what happened after that? I-i can't remember. Did I fainted?
