The Golden Snipers

Chapter 1

The two were wondering in the forest, admiring the violet and blue flowers. They took a few notes as to what they saw and felt in their "Lovers Adventure Book", but it was used more of a journal.

They then saw a river stream. The water is so fresh and clear that you could almost drink from it!
It is only small, you could nearly jump over it; you'd probably make it if you tried.
Luckily, they can go further since there was a wooden bridge allowing them to go across.
"Ladies first, my love." Jade says to Faith kindly.
"But I want you to go first!" Faith cutely pounces as she childly frowns at Jade.

"Oh, alright then. If that is what you wish." Jade crosses the bridge as Faith secretly and sneakily checks out every look on Jade, I guess it's just what lovers do?

"Your turn now, my love." Jade calls from the other side. Faith then jumps with joy, "Okay!"
However, before she could take a step closer, an unknown voice interrupts her.

"Not on Nick's watch!"

Someone calls out behind Faith; the voice is followed from a nearby hedge.

LEAP!
A ninja-looking person jumps out from the hedge and lands right in front of Faith. "Taste the wrath of my Derpy Pancakes!" He yells as he hits Faith with his mysterious yet weird weapon.
Faith is then bashed and killed... The ninja murdered her in cold blood.

"F-Faith!?" Jade calls out to her, witnessing the dead corpse of his one and only lover.

The ninja suddenly runs across the bridge to Jade and yells out "You shall taste the wrath of my Derpy Pancakes too!"

The ninja strikes at Jade, but Jade recoils, dodging the attack as he now gets an opening opportunity on the killer.

"Oh I don't think so!" Jade brutally grows. "You'll pay for this!"
Jade counters the killer and then, drawing out his Azeria Blade, strikes him down in one blow!
"NOOO!" The ninja cries out in pain as he collapses to his death.

...

Silence fills the area. The wind blows past Jade as he doesn't know what to do with the dead around him.

He weakly looks down at Faith, "Faithypoo." he softly cries.
He then kneels down, grabbing his dead lovers hand, and the finger with the ring that he proposed to her long ago...
"M-Maybe... I should quit."

Before Jade could commit suicide, another unfamiliar voice interrupts.

"Wait! Don't quit!"

Jade slowly looks around at his left and right, but from all the sober he cannot focus. "W-who... Said t-that?" He struggles to ask as he tries to wipe the tears from his eyes.

"The mighty Leon is who!" The voice calls out from above. As Jade looks, he sees a person floating in the air. The person is wearing purple clothing with a greyish blue pointy hat, it is a wizard.

The wizard floats down but only to hover above the ground a little.

"...The hell?" Jade surprisingly says as he wipes his eyes again but to see if he was hallucinating or hearing things, but it is real.

"The hell?" The mighty wizard Leon quotes, "How dare you insult the amazing Leon and his magical powers!"

"Yeah... But like, you surprised me," Jade says in a foul tone. "...Wait a second, you're flying! How!?"

"Shut it I had red bull this morning okay?"

"I don't see any wings..."

"OK?" Leon demands.

Jade sighed , "...Fine."

Leon then stops hovering and lands onto the fresh grass surrounded by the woods. You can't see the shoes he's wearing due to the robe covering it up.

"Now then..." Leon says, "Do you—Jade—wish to resurrect your lovable 'Faithypoo' and the wonderful ninja assassin Nick?"

You heard me call her Faithypoo?
"Nick.. Anyone but Nick," Jade grunts.

"Hush, child, I can do what I want okay?"

Jade is silent, but confused.

"Now then." Leon begins, "For the magical spell!"

"'Use guns like how I do'!" He calls out the spell...

FLASH!

...
...

Faith is standing on her two feet, raised back up from the dead, as well with Nick over there; confused as to what happened. Perhaps he doesn't remember and has received a case of amnesia from Leon.

Jade slowly gets up and looks right at Faiths eyes, seeing her close sparkle upfront. His heart beats...

"Faith!" He cries out.
"Jade!" Faith cries out as she runs to Jade and embraces him.

"...Seems like my work here is done," Leon softly says to himself.

"Oh my god! Thank you so much!" Jade calls out his gratitude to Leon, still running tears down his eyes, but now blissful.

"No problem," Leon says to Jade, "Now pay me a hundred dollars for what I just did."

Jade then pauses, his face is frozen, "What?..." He asks in confusion with a weak smile.

"You heard me," Leon replies in a serious tone, "pay me a hundred dollars so that I can continue watching Netflix."

Jade then gives a foul look at Leon, "No."

"Please?" Leon looks at Jade with a vulnerable look.

"No."

"I'll give you diamonds," Leon offers.

"No."

"...I'll give you emeralds?"

"No."

"Fine then! I'll give you a new Xbox 360!"

Jade then thinks slowly, "Sure!" He then says.

"Omigosh! Really!?" Leon brightens up.

"No," Jade jests.

Leon then floats back in to the mid air. He closes his eyes and mumbles, but it's too quiet to hear from a distance.

"...Well, can you at least complete a quest for me?"

Jade and Faith were walking away blissfully, but Jade slowly then turns and looks at Leon.
"Uh...sure?"

Leon then lands onto the ground again and walks slowly up to Jade.

"I need you... to defeat what is known as... The Levi."
