The Golden Snipers

Chapter 4

The girl grabs out some kind of fish from behind. As Jade looks closer at it, he realises that it's a puffer Fish.

"Hmph, pathetic." The girl grunts. She hits Sal whom is painfully unarmed with the pufferfishes scent of poison.

SPLOOSH!

Sal is then poisoned. "EeHeh.." Sal mumbles as he struggles to stay on his two feet. He seems to be experiencing nausea.

"What the!?" Jade shockingly witnesses the event.

"Who are you? And who do you work for?" The girl questions Jade.

Jade then assumes that this girl is Silver from the warning message on the sign. He only then realises about that message.

"I don't think you know who your messing with." Jade then warns Silver.

Silver let's out a sigh and slaps Sal again with the pifferfish.

Sal then falls down to the ground, struggling with motion sickness and the poisoning.

"S-Sal!" Jade shouts out. "Alright fine! My name is Jade alright? And I work for no one!" He then explains.

Silver gives Jade a puzzled look. "Just you..?" She cautiously asks.

"And my friends!" Jade corrects himself.

Silver is then silent, she closes her eyes. "Not convinced."

"What!?"

"Say goodbye to your friend, and soon enough this world too."

Jade is then angered in disbelief. He quickly wields out his Azeria Blade, ready to strike Silver at any time.

Then, a younger voice than Silvers interrupts both Silver and Jades movements.

"Silver! Stop that now!"

Jade then sees another girl with dark hair and wearing a set of steal armour and black stockings. She is running up to Silver from behind.

Silver then turns and notices. "Oh uh, hi Abby."

Abby stops next to Silver, trying to catch her breath. "Stop all of this now this instant!"

"What?" Silver tries to mock Abby.

"Don't what me! Cure him!" Abby demands as she grabs Silver by the ear.

"Owowowowow! Okay Okay!" Silver yells, "I'll stop!"

"Good." Abby lets go of Silver. Silver rubs her ear, she then cures Sal using a spell.

BLING!

Sal is then cured, he still can't exactly walk though, so he prones his way towards Jade. "G-Get away from me!" He shouts at Abby and Silver.

Silver is then again silent, doubting with what she just did.

"Who are you and what do you want!?" Abby innocently yells out at Jade.

"My name is Jade. And we don't want anythin-" Jade tries to explain as he is then cut of from Silver. "Melon."

"Except for a melon!" Jade again corrects himself.

Abby is then disgusted at Jade and Sal. "Well I'm sorry but if you both knew how to read then none of this would have happened at all!"

"Oh?" Jade corrects the insult, "If we don't know how to read, then how come I know your names?... Abby, and Silver."

"Well.." Abby tries to think of something, "We took hard work into planting these Melons, you can't just grab one!"

"Why do you even need one anyway? Are you broke or something?" Silver insults Jade and Sal.
