Eamonn doesn't hate the Northside like most of his friends, but he doesn't exactly like it either. Eamonn grew up on the wrong side of the tracks as many Northsiders put it. He was born and raised in Southside in a small trailer park with other Serpents. From the moment he could walk, Eamonn learnt the ropes of the Southside and where to go and when it was safe to.

To Eamonn, Northside feels like a world millions of miles away. Northside has money, proper homes, and a good school. Southside has gangs, drugs, and crime. Eamonn is even a part of those crimes. A few years back he had an accident involving the Ghoulies, and he ended up having to be one of their drug dealers. Even now, he's still roped in with no escape. He hasn't told the other Serpent knowing of the rivalry, but if word got out he knows he's screwed.

Eamonn jogs down the dimly lit streets on the main road. He takes in the sight of neatly placed houses along side on another with lights off. Eamonn imagines what it'd be like to live in one of those houses. Jellybean and mum might even still be here, Eamonn thinks. He shakes off the thought. Jellybean is better away from him and his father. Eamonn knows that Jellybean saw him as a role model and an angel. If she sees him now, she'd be frightened. Maybe even pull herself away. Eamonn knows he's a monster for what he's done in his past after Jellybean and his mum's departure.

Shaking his head, Eamonn turns his jog into a sprint down the road. He continues sprinting listening to his heartbeat and the rhythmic thud of his shoes hitting the pavement. He flies down roads and alleys, twisting between then. He ignores the fact that it begins to drizzle. He continues sprinting even with the burn in his calves. He doesn't stop until he's out of the main town and standing in front of a large mansion.

Thornhill.

Eamonn knows of the Blossom family. Hell, everyone knows of the Blossom family. They were there at the beginning of Riverdale. He glances around at the quiet mansion, it seems abandoned almost. But Eamonn knows of the people inside.

Eamonn and Cheryl were friends once, a long time ago. Before what side of the tracks you lived on mattered. Eamonn and Cheryl grew up going to the playground together and pretending it was there own castle. They'd spend hours playing and as they grew up they stopped playing as much. They'd talk every now and then and go see a movie, but both of them changed. Cheryl started worrying more about looks and focusing on Northside friends. Eamonn had a darkness growing in him and had to make friends with the other Serpent kids. The two quickly went to only talking then texting then nothing. Within a few years, it was like they never were friends at all.

Of course, Eamonn remembers everything. He remembers how he'd always fantasise about this castle and Cheryl being his princess. But now he was just a peasant doing evil to survive. No one can blame him though, it's all he knows. Sweet Pea and Fangs became Eamonn's closest friends after he decided to stick with Southside friends for good. Sweet Pea and Eamonn have had each other's backs every since Eamonn took a knife for Sweet Pea. Eamonn still has the scar from the knife on his back across his shoulder blade.

A loud clang brings Eamonn out of thought. He quickly blinks his eyes and sees a tall figure standing in front of him with red hair.

"What're you doing here, Jones?" Jason asked. Eamonn shifted feet.

"Just jogging past, Blossom. Got a problem?" Eamonn asks.

"Yeah, I do. You don't just happen to jog by this area," Jason says, stepping towards Eamonn.

"It's a free country, I can jog wherever I want," Eamonn fights back.

"Don't make this hard on yourself, what're you actually doing out here?" Jason asks.

"Like I said, just jogging past," Eamonn calmly replies.

"Whatever, Jones. You're not welcome here, so you can leave," Jason orders. Eamonn glares at him.

"What're you even doing out this early? Your mama and papa would be worried about their special little boy," Eamonn mocks.

"Shut up before I make you," Jason angrily says, fisting his hand. Jason had a quiver in his voice too quick to notice, but Eamonn managed to. He's trying to hide something, Eamonn observes.

"Then make me," Eamonn spits. Jason pulls his arm back and is about to punch Eamonn when he side steps and grabs Jason's arm and twists it. Jason yells out in pain. "You want to rephrase that, Golden Boy?" A fire suddenly a flame in Eamonn's eyes.

"Let go of me!" Jason tries breaking free.

"Gladly," Eamonn replies, shoving Jason back towards his mansion.

"You're going to regret that, Jones," Jason warns.

"We'll see, won't we," Eamonn replies. And with that he takes off with a sprint back down the road leaving Jason rubbing his arm in the dust.
