I walked outside and started walking to Zane's. He was my best friend out of everyone on Mystreet. I walked up to his door and knocked. He opened the door and his face got paler.
" Hey, Zane. I came to hang out."
" Was that today. Sorry, I forgot."
" It's fine. Just let me in."
He moved out of the way and I walked inside. I sat on his couch and turned the TV on. He sat beside me as we watched " Stranger Things " together. A knock was heard at his door.
" Who could that be?" He said annoyed
He stood up and walked to the door and a person who had blonde hair and blue eyes was at the door.
" Hey, Zane I wanted to see if-"
" No."
Then Zane slammed the door on him. He walked back to the couch and then blonde walked through the door.
" Zane come on. Let's have-Oh? Hello there. Are you a friend of Zane's?"
I nodded and looked back at the TV.
" Zane please come I want to have some brother time. Please?"
" I said no!"
" What are you guys arguing about?" I asked
" Well, I want to take Zane to this restaurant in town. It just opened. I was hoping Zane would let me take him there and we could have some brotherly chat."
" I don't want to go."
" But I already made reservations."
" To bad!"
I got sick of the arguing and I walked outside. Then out of nowhere, I saw the blonde being shoved out the door.
" Well, that didn't go well."
" Ya, I can tell."
" What's your name by the way?"
" Y/n."
" That's a pretty n-name. Mines Garroth."
I nodded and he kept talking.
" That's odd. people usually blush when I tell them that."
" Well sorry to disappoint you, but I don't care."
" Oh okay. Well, would you like to come with me to the restaurant?"
" Why not. Free food."
He smiled and started dragging me to his car. Once there he opened the door for me and I got in. We drove to the cafe and he talked the whole way there about Zane. This stuff I could use to tease him or blackmail him later. When he pulled into the parking lot I opened the door and got out of the car. I looked at the sign and it said ' Fish = Sushi '. Wow, what a name. We walked in and the man with a mustache stopped us.
" Name?"
" Garroth Ro'meave."
" This way."
We followed him to a table by the window. I sat down and ordered a California roll. As we waited for the food Garroth asked me a question.
" So Y/n...hows life?"
"It's fine. You?"
" It's great. I love living on Mystreet with all my friends."
" My only friend there is Zane so..."
" Oh, I see."
" Ya."
It was silence from their on out. When our food came I started eating and so did he. He started talking and I spoke sometimes while eating. Then when we were done I took my wallet out when Garroth stole it.
" Give me my wallet."
" No. I'm paying. You'll get it back when we get outside."
" Fine," I grumbled.
When we got outside he handed me my wallet and he opened the car door for me. I thanked him and sat down in the passenger seat. He started driving back to Mystreet. He drove and parked his car in his driveway. I got out and started to walk to my house when Garroth caught up to me.
" Hey wait. Let me walk you back home."
I nodded and continued to walk. He walked beside me and we walked in comfortable silence. Then when I got to my door I unlocked it and turned around to face Garroth.
" Thanks for the food."
" Not a problem."
I opened my door but was pulled back. Garroth kissed my cheek and then took a step back.
" I-I'll see y-y-you t-tomorrow."
I nodded and walked inside. I turned my lights on and looked in the mirror. I saw a light blush coating my face.
" Well, that's new..."
I touched my hand up to my cheek that he kissed and then looked at my hand.
"...but I kind of like it."
I took my shoes off and walked upstairs to go to bed. When I realized I had ditched Zane and never told him.
" Crap. I'll............have to make him some cupcakes tomorrow."
( Time Skip )
I walked to Zane's house with the cupcakes in my hands. I knocked on the door and he answered.
" I made your favorite," I said
He nodded and took them walking inside. I followed him and then he asked
" What happened yesterday with you and Garroth?"
" Well..."
I told him everything. How Garroth took me to eat and then walked me to my house.
" ...and then he kissed my cheek an-"
" WHAT!?" He screamed.
I stood up and ran out of his house not wanting to hear the scream.
" GARRRRRRRROTHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"
He ran out of his house and ran straight to Garroth's.
