Daniel x Reader: Secret admirer

( Your P.O.V. )

I had just left the house and started walking to the school when I heard someone calling my name.

" Y/n!"

I turned around to see Daniel running up to me.

" Hey Daniel, what's up?"

" Just wanted to catch up to you. Every time I can never catch you on time."

" Cause I'm fast."

We started walking to school again. I had known Daniel for a good year now. He was my closest friend. When we got to the school I saw the school decorated with hearts. Redwater was coming from the fountain.

" What's going on?"

" Do you not know what today is Y/n?"

" No. What is it?"

" It's Valentine's Day."

" What?"

" Ya It's Valentine's day. You didn't know that?"

" No! I don't have a calendar in my room."

" Oh well, now you know."

" Thanks."

We walked inside and went our separate ways. I walked to my locker and a note fell out of my locker. I picked it up and it said

Dear Y/n,
I love you because I love you because it would be iimpossible for
me to not love you. I love you without question, without calculation,
without reason good or bad, faithfully, with all my heart and soul, and
every faculty. Believe it, for it is true. If you cannot believe, I being at
your side, I will make a drastic effort to force you to do so.

I put the note back in my locker. I was getting all these letters a few months ago. It surprised me that someone would go through so much trouble for me. I didn't know who it was. The only information I got was that the person has a pair of ears and a tail. That's all I have gathered from these letters. I grabbed my biology book and started walking to bio. When I got there I took a seat by Aphmau.

" Hey Aph."

" Hey Y/n. Get another note?"

" Yes actually."

" Anything?"

" Nope. It  didn't even tell me anything except that I am close with the person."

" Well at least that's something."

" I guess."

" Okay class today we will be outside having some fun because Biology sucks ( If only that was my teacher : (   )."

I stood up and walked outside with Aphmau. I sat on the bleachers and played on my phone. Then I got a text from a random number.

1-256-XXX-XXXX: Is this Y/n?
You: Depends, who's this?
1-256-XXX-XXXX: It's your secret admirer
You: Okay? Still doesn't who this is.
1-256-XXX-XXXX: After school meet me at the cafeteria.
1-256-XXX-XXXX left the chat            

I put my phone back in my pocket and turned to Aphmau.

" My secret admirer just texted me."

" really?"

" Ya. He or she said they want me to meet them after school in the cafeteria."

" Are you going to go?"

" I don't know."

" You have to go Y/n! This could mean love!"

" Fine is you stop shouting about love."

" Deal."

So I waited through the day for the end of school. Once the school rand I walked to the cafeteria and sat there alone waiting for someone to come and greet me or something. I didn't know what to expect.

" Y/n?"

" Daniel?"

I stood up and found Daniel standing there behind me. He was blushing and looking down. He had a letter in his hand. He handed it to me and I opened it.

I'm your secret admirer.

I set the note down on the table and walked up to Daniel to find him blushing like a tomato.

" Y-Y/n I know you may not like me like I like you, b-b-but I just wanted to say I-I love you. If you don't feel the sam-"

I interrupted him with a hug. I hugged him and he hugged me back.

" Its okay Daniel. I love you too."

" R-Really?"

" Yes. Your cute and fun! Plus with all the letters you wrote me how could I not love you."

" Then do you want to go on a date with me?"

" I would love to Daniel."

He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the school together.
