>Lance's POV<
I slammed my head against the table, groaning as I stared at the silent phone on the table.
"Um,Lance, are you alright?" Pidge sat across from me,so I lifted my head to look at her.
"No." I replied, holding my head in my hands as I sighed. "Hunk works at the bakery too long."
"Well,he's getting money to support us. We all have jobs, you know. He just goes to his most."
I pushed my chair back and stood up,walking over to the window. I pushed it open, letting in a cool breeze from outside. I stared up the street, before I saw a yellow truck turn the corner. I grinned wide and ran to the front door, hopping as I slipped on my Converses. Who cared if I was still in my pajama pants?
Hunk slowed to a stop in the middle of the road, and rolled the window down. I leaned against it,smiling wide as Pidge appeared in the door.
"What are you doing?" She called to Hunk, and I raised an eyebrow, wondering the same thing.
"Go get dressed you two,we're going to go to the arcade. They're having a dance competition, and we all know that you can dance,Lance." Hunk explained with a smile.
I gasped and jumped back, turning as I pushed past Pidge and ran up the stairs.

I slid to a stop in front of my closet, looking at my clothes. What would be a good outfit?
I reached in and grabbed a black shirt, pulling it on over my head. I slipped on a pair of skinny jeans, sat on the edge of my bed,and pulled on my Converses once again. I stood up and looked in the mirror, but something was missing. Finally,I smirked to myself and nodded my head, moving back to the opened closet.
"There we go." I muttered as I tied a blue flannel around my waist. I crossed my arms and moved to the top of the stairs, balancing myself on the banister before sliding down. I landed on my feet at the bottom, jumping a bit as I rushed back outside. I opened the truck door and pulled myself up into the seat.
"Wow,that was quick." Hunk chuckled as we waited for Pidge to come out. I slightly laughed as I leaned back in the seat, feeling in my pocket to make sure I had my cash. Perfect.
As we waited for Pidge,I turned towards Hunk.
"Hey,why didn't you call before you got home?" I asked with a raise of my eyebrow. He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel for a moment, before quietly saying, "I was talking with somebody else, and lost track of time."
Pidge hopped into the back of the truck, closing the door before looking at us. She narrowed her eyes, and she turned her attention to him.
"Who was this other person?" She asked, curious. Then she met my eyes, and we smirked, having an idea. Must have been Shay.
"Let's just go." He said quickly and shifted out of park, and we started off on the road.

I plugged my phone into the USB port and looked through my music, searching for a song.
Finally,I clicked on 'Toxic' by Britney Spears, looking out of the window as we drove. I rolled down the window, and felt the breeze blow through my hair, and I sighed happily. I loved nice weather.
Pidge grabbed at my phone, and she got it before I could hide it. She scrolled through my music, and quickly clicked on one of her favorite songs. She clicked on 'Pump It' by the Black Eyed Peas.
"You only like this song because of Just Dance 3" Hunk chuckled as we stopped at a redlight. Pidge huffed and crossed her arms, though smiled a bit.
We slowed to a stop, just as the song was ending. I laughed as I unplugged my phone, right before the last lyrics, and Pidge glared at me before jumping out of the truck. I pulled the door handle and let it swing open before stepping out, closing the door behind me. I started at a slow walk towards the arcade doors, hearing the truck lock before Hunk appeared behind me. I glanced at Pidge, smirked to myself, and broke into a sprint towards the doors.
"That isn't fair!!" I heard Pidge yell before chasing after me.

I dove through the doors, just to find a large group of teenagers around my favorite game: Dance Dance Revolution. Nobody was playing, but just staring at the poster hanging from it:

~Dance Dance Competition.
Winner wins $3,000 in cash.
Any song is optional to dance to.
If interested, sign name at the bottom.
Competition will start: 7/19/18~

"That's today." I muttered, before getting hit with realization. It would be starting soon!
I scrambled forward, pulling out my light blue pen. It was all I had! Signing my name,I stepped back. And just as I did,one of the arcade workers took the paper off of the game, and told everybody to step back. He slowly started to read off a name, then another, and the two would compete.
I impatiently waited, until I heard my name get called. I smirked and stepped up onto the game's floor that included the arrows. Then I looked to my right, and I raised my eyebrow. I was going against this guy named Slav; what kind of name is that?
The game went quick, because he chose a short song. I moved easily, spinning and tapping my foot whenever I needed. Slav, however, seemed like he was afraid of the game in general, and lost.
This happened many times, and I didn't struggle at all. I didn't even get tired, and everyone that had lost to me just gave a weird or awed glance. None of them were close to winning. Finally,it was time for the final round.
"So,who's up next?" I announced, cracking my fingers. I looked around the group, eyebrow raised, waiting for another opponent to step up. Finally,I saw a boy walking towards the machine, and I almost laughed. I already knew that I would win against him.
The boy walked up to the worker and said his name, then came over to the machine and stood on the empty floor. Finally, the worker announced:
"Lance McClain and Keith Kogane, are you ready?"
